This luxurious, air-conditioned home in Carlsbad Village is two blocks from the beach and one block away from the shops and restaurants! This 2,865 square feet of living space property features an open-concept floor plan with a kitchen and a dining and living room with a high ceiling. The living room has a large leather sofa, a love seat, and a leather chair, plus a large TV, and a beautiful stacked-stone gas fireplace. Off the living room, there is an outside fenced yard with a seating area and gas grill. The gourmet kitchen has travertine flooring, granite countertops, custom cabinets, a breakfast bar, a stainless steel Thermador Profession double oven/cooktop with six burners and a griddle, a wine refrigerator, a huge stainless-steel side-by-side refrigerator, a stainless-steel dishwasher, and a double sink. There is one bedroom on the main level while there are three bedrooms on the second floor of the home. The main bedroom is spacious and well beautifully decorated giving you a feeling that you are truly on vacation. There is a large TV, a gas fireplace, a sitting area, and an attached bathroom. The main bathroom has a walk-in shower and a luxurious soaking bath tub. The second guest bedroom has access to an outside patio and the third guest bedroom has a large walk-in closet and access to the patio. A stairway will take you to a small lookout on the rooftop if you feel like gazing at the horizon as the sun sets. There is a large two-car garage. You will find beach supplies such as boogie boards, sand toys, a wagon, and more. Carlsbad is the perfect beach community for a family getaway. One block to the north, you will find many options for dining, shopping, and entertainment. One block to the west, you will find the great Pacific Ocean and beautiful sandy beaches. Just a short drive away, you find Legoland, Carlsbad Flower Fields, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, La Costa Spa/Resort, golf courses, pickleball facilities, surf lessons, bike paths, hiking trails, and more. THINGS TO KNOW This home is located in a family building and is not suitable for parties. Good neighbor noise policies apply to this rental.

The house is lovely. Waking Distance to shops, village and the beach. Spacious and clean. The house in the photos has rugs throughout the property but these are outdated. There are no rugs in the house. This was a personal inconvenience for me because my body aches if I’m constantly walking on bare floors. The house has all cooking supplies but bring your own spices etc. My issue was with the new company that manages the property. We had a conflict getting into the house as the keypad didn’t work. Took an hour to solve but they also accused me of not wanting to pay the 2nd deposit and wanted me to pay first while everyone was standing outside before I could get in. They had my card on file but because companies changed they said I knew I owed a balance and intentionally didn’t call to pay. Which wasn’t true. They were very unprofessional. A small discount was added to my account. They had no right of being this rude and could have solved professionally. For that I will not stay at any home that is ran by this management.

Very nice, roomy, comfortable, perfect location in the village and great amenities close by. We had everything we needed for the beach. Plenty of chairs, umbrellas and towels. Quick walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Will absolutely stay again. The only minor issue was that the floor could have been vacuumed better. A little sand is understandable, no issue with that. But it just looked like it needed to be vacuumed more thoroughly. Other than that minor thing it was perfect!! Gregory, the property manager, was fantastic, easy to get in touch with for questions, easy checking in and out. Highly recommend!!!

Great location

Love the place. Very spacious. We have rented this place several times. Was happy to see they replaced the carpet with laminate flooring.Wished they would have supplied more towels. Had to purchase dish soap and glass cleaner.The back patio needs to be cleaned of spider webs between each renter. The wood fence has bad termite infestation.

great location

Our stay was great. This home in the heart of Carlsbad Village is walking distance to restaurants, coffee, ice cream and most importantly the beach. It was clean and comfortable. As we are from AZ, the cool weather was a refreshing change. Our family agreed, We would love to stay there again.

Beautiful Townhome

We enjoyed this beautiful home with quick access to the beach and shopping areas. The home had a large kitchen and living area for our group to cook and gather. I would recommend this home as a 5 star accommodation.

Amazing property and location

Our family stayed here for a week in October of 2024. We had people ranging in age from 10-65. The location was perfect. There was plenty of space for everyone and everything we could have needed. Communication was excellent. Anytime we had a question or needed anything, my texts were answered immediately. We had an issue with the hot water not lasting for all our showers and they had somebody out to adjust the water heater that day. There were fans in every room, plenty of beach equipment, a wagon and beach chairs. I couldn’t say enough good things about this property, we will definitely be staying here again.

Roomy Carlsbad beach house

We loved out 8 nights at this beautiful house; only two blocks form the beach and shops of Carlsbad. Fantastic location!! Beach toys, umbrellas and wagon provided so we could just load the kids up and walk to the beach. Two parking places in private garage! House was very spacious with great appliances; BIG fridge for all your groceries. Huge master bath. Our four year old granddaughter asked if we could "stay here forever" :) It was very clean. Also with a locked gate we felt very safe. You should know there is a commuter train a block away that blows its horn with every pass. It sems to stop around midnight and starts up around 6. It didn't really bother us that much but for some people it might be a problem. It runs up and down the coast so I would think all the houses in the area would have the same issue. We would definitely stay here again.

San Diego family Triathlon Realy adventure

Had a pleasant time staying in Carlsbad for the San Diego Triathlon as a family relay event. The house was clean the facilities were exactly as described. No issues with access, check in/out. Great location walked to most everything we did in town. I would recommend it on those points.

GREAT PLACE - BUT

Very comfortable for our group of 8. Plenty of room for privacy and also gathering as a group. Excellent location near beach and restaurants. BUT since our family cooked each night there was not enough dishes (only 8) really needed 20, and better pots & pans would be appreciated. NO dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel or other normal items found in B & B provided. Only blocks from train that ran until 1 and then started at 6 in morning. None the less we would rent again.

Spacious, great for family

This location was amazing and we loved the comfy beds and the large living and dining spaces. We also loved the 6 burner stove and spacious kitchen and many balconies. Unfortunately the crows nest did not have any furniture except for a ripped chair and the balconies did not appear to have been cleaned off. We felt there were a few things missing that are normally standard in a quality vrbo like full mirrors and suitcase racks and extra towels and dish towels. Also, unfortunately the fridge was broken leaving us with a temp replacement that was an eye sore and did not have ice or water. A few items were ripped or torn or broken. (Rugs, patio table and beach chair) We had a lovely time and would stay here again due to all the positives.

Great location

The house and area is ideal. The only complaint is they only had 6 bath towels and the house is listed for 9 people. So we had to go and buy more bath towels. There was no laundry soap and every other vrbo that had a washing machine usually had a small detergent provided. Also when the smoke alarms went off and the bathroom faucet fell off we needed to communicate it took awhile for the people to text back that manage the property. It would be nice if there was a more immediate response.

329 Oak St Carlsbad Getaway

This home is beautiful! It just needs a little extra love & cleaning. The A/C wasn't working properly, which made things a bit stuffy at times, but the location was great! We will contact the property mangers, Vacasa to help them understand the 'little' things that would help people's stay in this home be more pleasant. All in all, a nice place to stay.

Great location/so much room inside

This place was great so much room inside for meals and games. Kitchen was big with all dishes and cookware for making meals. Lots of room to eat and play came. Couhes were comfy and spacious. The grill and outside seating were great too. Now location can't be beat. 1 1/2 blocks to a great beach life guard station 28. And great food nearby. If you like coffee and pastry Cafe Elysa 1 block away was great. We would stay here again.

horrible property management - without heat for days and they entered without notifying us

house was fine other than heat did not work and the bed downstairs was hard and uncomfortable. contacted the property management company (vacasa) since the heat was not working. we were told it was a priority request since it had to do with heat. 48 hours later we were still without heat. Two days later, without notifying us, someone entered the rental when we were not there. this person dropped off 4 space heaters to use which seems very unsafe. it was obvious vacasa knew the heat did not work and only sent a HVAC tech on the last day of our stay before 8am to check it out. definitely to fix it for the next guests, horribly unprofessional. I have requested credits to be filed for our stay with vrbo and vacasa. have yet to hear back from vacasa as vrbo said i have to deal with them directly

Spacious comfort in Carlsbad Village

The home is super comfortable, well stocked, and in an excellent location. Check-in was smooth and communication with the property management company was alright. Our only issue was the heater didn’t work our first day/night which was extremely inconvenient with infants. The host had been dealing with recurring problems with the furnace and while it was ultimately resolved, more care could have been given to ensure it was working prior to our arrival. Thanks for hosting us! We will gladly return if we come back to the area.

Nice and comfy house

The neighborhood ans location was amazing, within a block from restaurants and the beach. We experienced issues with the heating and communication with VACASA wasn't as smooth as expected but the issue was resolved within 24 hours.

My Review

When we arrived the heat was not on. We found the thermostat and it only had cool or off. We called Vacasa and the person said there is a fireplace only. I said well it won’t heat 2800 SF and the VRBO liatinf shows it has heating. I was upset. They said a property manager would call me. He did and in the end he had the thermostat replaced and heat worked. It was stressful and not a good beginning. That said we had a great time after. The location is great. It is a nice condo and we enjoyed it! I am in Commerical real estate. My only recommendation is the replace the TV in the family room to be likely 65 inch. It would up the impression and Experience. Thank you for a joyful time.

Refine the details

The property is beautiful, however it could use some extra details could improve the experience. Too many light switches-labels would be nice, maybe an instruction sheet for the electronics and oven, and definitely needs better bed linens-the pillows should all have pillow protectors on them - the pillows smelled less than fresh.
