Coastal Cabana is a luxe retreat in the highly desirable Bird Rock neighborhood of La Jolla, offering modern coastal design, comfort, and an unbeatable location just moments from beaches, restaurants, and local attractions. This beautifully maintained home features 4 bedrooms—2 king bedrooms and 2 queen bedrooms—along with 3 full bathrooms, including a shower/tub combination in the primary bath. The professionally designed interior includes stylish furnishings, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, and thoughtful conveniences such as a washer and dryer, generous linens, a Pack 'n Play, and beach gear including chairs, toys, and an umbrella. Outdoor living is a highlight, with multiple spaces designed for relaxation and entertainment, including a private hot tub, gas fire pit, outdoor dining area with grill, and an elevated terrace with a private putting green and ocean views. A breezy upper patio provides the perfect spot for morning coffee or sunset unwinding in true coastal style.

You are booking with Casago San Diego, a professional local property management company. We require guests to complete our own “Vacation Rental Agreement” after they've made their booking. We do this to ensure quality and consistency for our guests and our homeowners.

A nice, short-term rental type property. Had trouble entering the property with codes that did not work, but manager helped us immediately with a solution. Was cleaned well on arrival. Some minor maintenance needed indoors, like a slow draining tub, and outdoors, like patio cushions being dirty. The driveway can be a bit tricky getting in and out, but overall, a good space for a group, and good location.

Great location, nice size house, and cute backyard area! Plenty of space and the kitchen is well stocked. A book to provide instructions (eg for the firepit) would be helpful. Some of the outdoor furniture could be replaced and a deep cleaning is in order.

Beautiful house and backyard. Lots of supplies in the house - kitchen fully stocked with equipment and lots of dishes/drink ware. Would definitely stay here again.

Great City Escape

This is a great property, just a short walk to the ocean in Bird Rock. The house was as clean as any we have ever rented! The backyard is an exceptional place to hang out and enjoy the evenings or lazy mornings. We will be back.

Great Location

We had a wonderful stay. Property was perfect for our family of 5. Close to the zoo, safari park and the beach. Lots of places to eat nearby. Had a minor issue cause by the wind storm and the property manager was there in no time. I would highly recommend this property. They are proactive with information and we had multiple contacts if we needed anything.

Beautiful!

This property was perfect for our family of 6. We were close enough to the beach to enjoy it all day but far enough away we could relax around the fire pit in the evening. I love to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare a delicious dinner. We will definitely come back!

Property was perfect for 8 of us. 3 bathrooms and a large kitchen was great for a group. The kitchen offered very nice utensils to work with. House was very organized. No need to pack beach chairs, towels or ice chest. This house thought of everything. We would stay here again!

Great location - issues with hut tub and yard

Inside of house was great with the exceptions of a few stains on furniture.Location was perfect and close to everything. Hot tub was not working and the outdoor furniture pads needed a good cleanng.

Great house for a group!

Loved this house. It had plenty of room, comfortable beds and plenty of towels. There were 2 coffee makers (keurig and regular), hair dryers and an iron and ironing board. I asked about these items and were told they weren’t available, so was pleasantly surprised. House was clean and spacious. Hot tub was great on the cool evenings.

Great stay at a great property!

We had a great time staying at this property. The four bedrooms provided ample space for everyone to sleep, my kids loved the putting green and the hot tub, and those who did not warm up in the hot tub were able to warm up at the fire pit. The house was clean, there were plenty of linens and beach towels, and the kitchen had almost every cooking implement that we needed. Customer service was fabulous: At one point the dishwasher wouldn't work, and when we called for assistance they directed us to the circuit breaker, which solved the issue. All in all, a great stay at a great property!

Very nice home. Looked like a new renovation. Everything fresh and modern. Kitchen well equipped. Towels plentiful. Nice laundry room. Backyard lovely. Only negative point - pretty busy street and access in and out of driveway could be rough. Otherwise, 5 stars

Beautiful

This property was really beautiful. The house inside is very clean and spacious. The backyard has an incredible view! Location is great too, you can literally walk to pacific beach. Unfortunately the property management was very inflexible around early check in & 4pm seems pretty late to be charged for an entire day. The washing machine didn’t work but everything else was perfect.

Overall great house with everything you need.

We were looking for someplace for four women. We all had our own room, and with three bathrooms the accommodations were perfect. The outside area is beautiful. The only issue we had was with the outdoor fire pit which we would have used but we never got anybody to come to repair it. We had called the management and they were responsive but no one ever showed up and we were there for four days.

Adult Family Vaca

This house was nice and spacious for 6 adults. It came fully equipment in the kitchen. Master king bed and pillows not very comforable. To enter and exit this property not the easiest since its on a busy road and incline. The outdoor set up and views we're amazing. Hot tub a plus!! No golf balls anywhere to be found. The out door grills looked like they had not been cleaned in several months. Overall our stay was nice and comfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was good. The biggest issue is the driveway. Very hard to get in and out of property and very unsafe. BBQ grill had no gas and was very filthy. That ruined our ability to cook a dinner one night. House is nice but very thin walls making any little noises annoying.
