Everything was as described. The location is great and if you don’t mind a nice walk with some hills then everything in the area is accessible by foot or a quick uber ride away.Carlos the host was excellent to communicate with and was very helpful when we needed to contact him.

The home was even prettier in-person! And all very newly updated. The bottle of wine and snacks were a very welcoming touch. As were the coffee pods and creamer so we did not have to rush out to the grocery at night (which is three minutes away by car). We loved the gas fireplace and gas fire table outside for the cooler evenings. The home's private little cliff walk behind the house was fun with a view of the ocean from above along with a glass of wine and a sunset. The primary bedroom (two queens) and the bath is stunning and huge. There is a TV in the other bedroom (king) and a full bath and tub next door to it, which you share with the twin bedroom. The house is also well appointed including extra paper towels, etc. It is very clean and beautifully furnished. Homey but not not like you're invading someone's personal space.The neighborhood is lovely and very quiet (and very hilly) but very walkable to shops and restaurants. And if you want to have fun at home there is ping pong, horseshoes, and corn hole. Lots of beach stuff to drive to the beach. And a ton of baby gear if you have little ones with you. And check-out is at 11, so we did not feel rushed. Carlos was very responsive when we had a check in question. We had a great trip and we would definitely rent again. We have VRBO'd four houses in the last three months and many in past years, so we have a vibe for what we like and this had home definitely had it.

40 year UCSD softball reunion

This was the perfect place for us to celebrate the 40th anniversary of when the UCSD softball team went to regionals for the first time.Everything was as advertised. The owner was very easy to work with. The place was clean and comfortable. Easy check in and check out.Highly recommended. I’d definitely stay there again.! Great location! Close to La Jolla and UCSD campus.

La Jolla Gem

This is a beautiful property located in a fantastic location of La Jolla. Was very easy to walk to shops and restaurants, and if you have 2 cars, you can easily park in the drive. The upper deck area was perfect to watch 4th of July fireworks from the La Jolla Country Club, and we enjoyed the fire pit on the front patio each day. The house was very comfortable with plenty of room. Very comfortable stay. Our only surprise was the master bedroom did not have a connecting bathroom. It shares with a second bedroom. The largest bedroom has two queens and has the master bath connected. It worked out fine for us though. Would stay here again with family!

Perfect spot for a Wedding party

This place is great! Check in instructions were late to share, but after that the check in process was smooth! Carlos was kind enough to allow an earlier check in! We had our family over for rehearsal dinner, and it’s more than enough to host a larger party. Def recommend :)

Great house for UCSD grad

Stayed for UCSD graduation. Close to campus (10-15min), traffic in and out of La Jolla is a bear but that was no surprise having lived there. But can walk into La jolla and walked to the shores as well. Really enjoyed being able to sit out on the patio at night with the fire pit and made great use of the BBQ and kitchen. Plenty of space to have family over to celebrate our graduate. Host was easy to reach and check in and out was a breeze. Was also nice to have garage parking as well as space in the driveway. Bonus was a nice walking trail just up the street to La Jolla Heights natural park. Thanks for a great visit.

Can't wait for another stay!

We stayed for graduation with adult kids and the grandparents. It was perfect! We enjoyed catching up around the firepit to playing family games around the table. The house is equipped with pretty much everything and all high end. Carlos was very responsive as well. For instance, he was over in 10 minutes to change the battery in the air conditioning. There is ample parking in the driveway and did I forget to mention the amazing view from the deck on the hill. This is where we enjoyed a glass of wine (complimentary of the host) to watch the sunset. I will recommend this home to everyone who is looking to stay in San Diego! Thank you Carlos for making our trip perfect!
