The McMillan Inn Carriage House Suite is a Cozy Luxurious Hideaway off the courtyard of the main House. The Carriage house has all that a luxurious getaway has to offer. Use the Carriage house to host your special occasions, honeymoons, anniversaries, birthday celebrations and more. This is the perfect choice for longer stays in Savannah. Be swept away by the luxurious surroundings and comfort. The oversized Jacuzzi Tub is nestled between two Corinthian Columns and a flat screen TV swivels for viewing from the tub or bed. The most secluded of all our rooms with its own veranda overlooking the courtyard. The parlor room includes a flat screen TV hidden behind a framed, 2 way mirror overlooking the fireplace. It also has built in stereo speakers with a DVD/CD and Radio for many entertainment options. The Carriage House is a Non-Smoking unit. No pets or children under 18 yrs of age permitted. They pride themselves in making each guest feel at home while creating a memorable stay at McMillan Inn. Cindy grew up in Savannah and the couple returned to Cindy's childhood roots when they moved back to Savannah in 2003 from Annapolis, Maryland. While they Live on site in the Garden Level Apartment they will respect your privacy and are available if you need them.

We have always loved vacationing in Bed & Breakfasts and Historic homes vs staying in hotels. Living in Savannah makes us feel as if we are always on vacation. The city life is terrific since everything is within walking distance. Step right out the door and you are immediately in the charm of a historic setting. You really do not need a car living in this Historic city. Savannah has everything that you would need and want, restaurants, nightlife, music, arts, museums, formal and informal festivals, Film, Jazz, Food, Art, and any thing else you could possibly think of.

We have paid close attention and close detail to make each room have its own individual charm with its period antiques and artwork you will feel like you stepped back in time yet enjoy all of the modern conveniences. You can reserve the entire Inn and each of your guests will have their own bathroom so you do not have to share, each room has its own TV, mini fridge, and Fireplace. Or you can choose to rent one or several rooms. We have the perfectly sized cocktail pool to gather with your group or meet new friends. One of the quietest streets in Savannah, you can take a short walk to River Street area for exiting nightlife and then return to a quite respite at the Inn.
