Relaxing retreat

Our family had a relaxing stay. Beautiful walking trails, wombat spotting and star gazing. Close to little towns for cafe breakfast or shopping to stock up and just stay in the beautiful accommodation. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful spot for a weekend getaway. So peaceful and loved the outside firepit for happy hour and watching the stars. House well set up with everything you need and great heating too. Karen is a great host and very quick to get back to you.Highly recommend!

Wonderful Getaway

This home was absolutely beautiful and a wonder place for a getaway. The surroundings and views are beautiful and it was a very peaceful and tidy home, it had everything we needed. The hosts were communicate and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Great small getaway with friends

Wonderful place to stay. Saw many local wildlife including wombats (after dusk) and kangaroos. House very well furnished and we enjoyed using the fireplace. No issues whatsoever and internet plenty fast.

Aptly named 'Serenity Lane', lovely house, beautiful location.

3 generations stayed for 4 days. Host was so helpful and the property presented beautifully. Just so remote and quiet and the scenery is breathtaking. We will be back

Beautiful house and stunning location

The location is fantastic. You feel like you are very remote, yet 15 mins from Kangaroo Valley. The house was perfect for our group of 3 couples, with everything we needed. Karen and Ben were the perfect hosts.

Views don’t get any better than this, absolutely stunning! The house was comfortable, clean, with everything you could want. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Serene Weekend

Had a lovely stay on this property, and was very happy with the booking, check-in processes. Hosts were super fast responding to any questions. Slight room for improvement with kitchen appliances and the presence of a BBQ (which was in the pics but not on site).

Amazing location with plenty of wombats around and nice views! Great hosts, good communication and very helpful, we accidentally left some of our kid's clothes at the property and they sorted the return of these out for us. Thanks! Ash and family

Outstanding wildlife viewing! Wonderful home to stay in.

Fantastic home in an amazing valley of beauty and serenity. Every evening at dusk, whether in the backyard or the fields just in front of the entrance to the driveway, you’ll see lots of kangaroos roaming about as well as those adorable wombats. Coming from the USA it was a special treat to experience this wildlife. Whether sitting on the patio with coffee in the morning or sipping wine in the evening, the scenery and tranquillity was exceptional. Karen was super responsive with any questions we had. Would absolutely stay here again.

Pros: Location as expected, cute property, host provided great instruction, bathrooms and kitchen recently done and look great Cons: very hard to get phone reception, but my biggest disappointment was the poor cleaning - downstairs bathroom esp shower not cleaned, found crumbs on couches, and overall super dusty

An amazing location and wonderful house. A great weekend escape to the country.

Our family of 5 spent two days at Serenity Lane and loved it. The house is set up to easily accommodate 5/6 people and there was plenty of space. The kitchen made cooking meals easy, and the open plan layout downstairs was great. There were board games, books and DVD's to keep us entertained as the rain came down and the kids loved pointing out the local wildlife. Wallabies, Wombats, Echidnas, Cows and the odd crackle of cockatoos kept things interesting. Kangaroo Valley town is only a 10-15 minute drive away and Fitzroy Falls and Manning lookouts (less than 30 mins away) were the highlight of the trip. An afternoon cup of tea (or bubbles) looking out over the rolling grassy hills towards the escarpment brings new meaning to the word Serenity. Karen was a great and communicative host, and everything was as described. We truly enjoyed our time at Serenity Lane, and looking forward to coming back. The Cassis Family.

Weekend away

Lovely house and relaxing location to stay. Only thing was the road closure and difficulty of getting in and out when we had wedding commitments in town but this had nothing to do with the house or hosts.
