We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful lake house! The house comfortably fit 6 adults and 3 kids. The huge table was perfect for games. Everyone enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding. We didn’t want to leave!

Great spot for our family get away with 7 adults and one toddler. Nice quiet lake perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. We loved our family dinners at the large farmers table. The house had everything we needed. Highly recommend

This was just perfect for a large family ski vacation just minutes away from Mt. Sunapee. The lake was absolutely beautiful and watching snow mobiles and cross country skiers crossing never got old. The kids also got to enjoy the frozen lake and snowy yard which was an added bonus. The house was clean, comfortable and the fully stocked kitchen was perfect for coming home to cook after a long day on the slopes. Overall it was a wonderful weekend full of snowy memories!

I am local to the Sunapee area and we needed a larger place for a family gathering, so we chose the Birches to stay for a weekend. Stay was okay, but the price does NOT reflect what you will receive! The good: Size was good and plenty of bedrooms. Upstairs is renovated and updated. Everything is provided, coffee, sheets, soaps which is a plus and makes going away easy. We saw loons, and a bald eagle while relaxing on the back deck. The BAD: A lot of maintenance issues here! Screen door closer kept falling off the front door, closet knob kept falling off, cobwebs everywhere, weeds growing out of the gutters, the carpet leading to the screen room very wet upon arrival and VERY musty smelling which was the biggest surprise and disappointment for over 630 a night. Upstairs TV is broken with a line running through the screen. The water is very mucky and water shoes are advised as I cut my foot when jumping off the paddle board. A few broken paddles, back patio set is generally unusable due to pine pitch on cushions and table etc. if you plan on using them bring table cover and something to cover chairs!Overall it was an “okay” stay. If it were 1/2 the price I would be able to look past 2/3 of the issues. Then there is the communication. I wrote to Nick about my concerns and heard NOTHING. I waited 6 days and wrote again and received nothing the 2nd time as well. Overall priced a bit high for what you get.

Perfect picturesque lake home for our family gathering! Eight adults, a toddler and baby. And our pups. The layout of the home is extraordinary. Five bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath, well appointed, wonderful linens, cozy blankets, kitchen is stocked! Beautiful, custom wooden dining room table that sits 10! We played Monopoly there and gazed out the very large (practically wall-sized) window out onto the pretty lake. Back yard has seating area, grill, kayaks, paddles boards, and more! Zero entry into lake (our group did a cold plunge… so much fun!). The ambience of the home is exceptional for a family gathering like this. There are three separate couches all in a row, which allows for wonderful visiting and room for everyone. We had a fire in the fireplace inside every single night, it was glorious! The house has everything you would need for a comfortable stay! Plenty of parking as well. The owner was easy to reach and very accommodating. Thanks so much, we will be back!
