The Space:
This cute, three-bedroom home stands alone, with plenty of off-street parking and a location close to practically everything! You'll have beach access right across the street, as well as the Folly Beach Fishing Pier. All the shops, restaurants, and bars of Center Street are just half-a-block away. The parking at Seascape is quick and easy. The deck outside is huge with partial ocean views, lounge chairs, and a gas grill. The home has a private washer/dryer, good high-speed internet, DirecTV, and a well-equipped kitchen. The home features an open and roomy living space and a super-comfy couch, and is definitely going to be your home-away-from-home during your next beach vacation!

Perfect spot

We stayed here in 2024 and have rented it again 2025. This was a great house and there were a few things but you cannot ask for a better location or parking. The house is a little dated but to us it reminded us of what the houses looked like in the past. We had some bugs and when we called they came immediately and sprayed and took care of it and we were fine the rest of our vacation. If you want nostalgia, across from Beach, pier and the Main Street this is your place. We will continue to keep renting it yearly. Love this house!

Spacious Property/Excellent Location

If you're looking for a spacious home that comfortably accommodates 9 people, with lots of room to relax inside or outside, with access to the beach directly across the street, with parking for four vehicles and within walking distance of every restaurant, bar and any type of entertainment Folly Beach offers, then this is the place for you! If you're looking for high end finishes like stainless steel appliances or spa like bathrooms then look somewhere else! This house has everything you can think of including a full sized washer/dryer, lots of kitchen wear & small appliances, comfortable clean beds and couches and a huge wrap around deck with sunbeds, table & chairs. People this is an older home by the beach right next to restaurants. There will be a few bugs, there will be a little moisture in the home but you absolutely cannot beat the location! Yes, things need updated but they all work. A total kitchen remodel would make it amazing. Under all the sink cabinets there was definite water damage which had a smell to it, the kitchen sink cabinet was the worst. The closets were very cluttered so we couldn't hang our wedding outfits in there and I'm not sure if the extra bedding in the closets was 100% clean? We had a wonderful stay there and will book again! However, the Vacasa Property Management Company was a nightmare and has lied and refused to return clothing items left in the dryer. Horrible company to try & work with! Property owners beware!

Shabby not chic

The house was very worn and shabby. The floors were not clean. The thresholds between rooms were loose and present a tripping hazard. The door lock is worn out and very hard to open. The toilets don’t flush properly and the dishwasher is rickety. The lighting is very dim and the switches are not marked and are very oddly placed. The location is great but the property needs a lot of updating.

Dirty filthy house DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Location is perfect and the deck is great. The house itself is horrible! In the kitchen open paint cans stored with pots and pans! We were there for 2 weeks so planned on cooking.Had to spend an hour cleaning the kitchen till I felt like it was clean enough to cook.Furniture in living room is literally falling apart. Cockroaches in kitchen. Beds are terrible. Doorknobs falling off. Texted the local office they said they would compensate me for my troubles gave me114.00 when I spent 4400’.00! I was in constant contact with them also because my truck got damaged. Was told to turn it over to my insurance company so again my expense. House is in desperate need of repair!! Never renting from vacasa again. So please get their houses off your website. Terrible customer service! I have never had such a problem with just Vrbo. This was my 64th birthday celebration and first time I got to spend 2 weeks at the beach. Tried to make the best of it but came home and jumped in the shower because I felt dirty after that disgusting house.

wonderful house close to everything.

Loved the location. right across the street from the beach. Found some great places to eat within walking distance. Lots of room and the deck was great for people watching.

Nice home, great location

Nice home in heart of Folly - easy walking distance to beach or Center Street. Our family of adults enjoyed the large deck and location. the home was very clean and dog-friendly, too.

Family time

Charming beach cottage,vintage feel,loved the space,the hugh deck,1 minute walk to the beach ,2 minute walk to pier,berts mart and the nightlife all walkable from house.Well stocked kitchen,even had crockpots.they had standing fans for bedrooms which was a plus.We did not have room when packing .lol.Can tell they have been renovating but hope they try and keep vintage..we had Nana and Papa,3 grandkids,son and spouse,and Gigi,,time well spent will definitely return

Short Vacation with friends

We were a group of 4 friends with a dog. Very comfortable, great location and clean. One shower not working but I am sure it will be fixed. As we were there 2 nights it didn't bother us. would stay here again.

Escape the Seascape

We stayed from 8/6 to 8/13/2022. Our enjoyment of this stay had NOTHING to do with the home we rented. It's over-all condition is best described as college off-campus housing: - mis-matched furniture and lighting. In the great-room, one fan light squeaked horribly and could not be used. -noisy whole-house A/C -its best feature was the deck , but there was no umbrella to provide shade so that it could be enjoyed. - VERY steep squeaky stairs up into house and up to bedrooms (one of the adults fell all the way down to the ground level!) --missing from the on-line description was any warning of the excessive noise in the neighborhood, especially on week-ends -the pipe under the house and above the outdoor shower draining the kitchen sink&dishwasher was broken in recent past and a patch-job (with electric tape!) failed, pouring gray water all over the place. It took 2 days for a plumber to be organized to do a proper repair. - the faucet in upstairs shower/tub had worn temp. control. Use this if u enjoy cold showers - One of the mattresses is covered in a crackly plastic barrier. try to sleep on this! - one electric outlet had no cover, another's cover hangs loose I paid mucho dinero for the pleasure of spending a week in this dump, and would have moved if I could have found another place open. Don't make the same mistake

Disrepair to say the least

This property is in need of a lot of repairs. To name a few instances…holes or rips in window screens, some Windows as well as sliding glass doors had no screens. Broken bureau drawers, door hanging askew on kitchen cabinet, broken bathroom shower (plumber was able to make it adequately work, but not properly), hole in wall, dining room light/fan remote didn’t work. But the worse was cockroaches!! When I reported this and Exterminator immediately came and treated the house. After that only one live roach was seen. This totally disgusted me, I couldn’t even prepare one meal in the house due to my disgust!!

Great location!

Great location to the beach & lots of restaurants & shops!! Pet friendly so everyone in the family enjoyed the large gated deck! There were some issues with the kitchen sink & dishwasher, but the property management staff were extremely responsive & great with communication! Beds were comfortable! Kitchen needs a little updating , especially fridge & dishwasher! Would stay here again!

Awesome location!!

This was a great home! Large enough to comfortably fit our group of seven. Great location, basically in the center of the island. Across the street from beach access, around the corner from the grocery, and just down the block from the main drag with all the bars/restaurants/shops. The one thing we wished it had was beach towels and more beach chairs/umbrellas. But it was the perfect place for our bachelorette weekend, highly recommend!

Location and the deck make this property

The house’s location is amazing. You open the two sliders and let the sound of the ocean come in. During the day there is some construction right now (March 2022) but the Pella sliders reduce the noise significantly. The beds were extremely comfortable. The property was clean! One thing to note because it will matter to some renters, the bathrooms and kitchen are dated. The kitchen is functional and has what you need which is what we needed. The bathrooms have been well used and need an update BUT they are clean. Did I say this place was clean? That overrode the dating of the baths and kitchen. The best part was the beautifully restored deck. We spent so much time out there. Overall, we would come back to this property with no issues.

Winter Beach Fun

How lovely to stay in this home for my winter beach birthday retreat. It was the perfect place to gather with my husband, my adult children, dog and grandpuppy. Busy lives make it a challenge to get together but being in this house gave us all relaxation and fun we needed. We each had a room to ourselves and the layout of the property made it easy to gather together or have our own space. I loved having the deck to sit and read a book in the winter sun. A few steps to the beach, bike shop rental, or stores/restaurants made it easy to enjoy Folly. I even took a cold plunge into the 60 degree water for my 60th birthday-how glorious. I imagine the summer must be fabulous here but I truly enjoyed the winter sun and surf for a beautiful escape to the salt air. The close by Charleston restaurants made it extra special and convenient. All around from booking to checking out the communication was easy and made us ready to make it an annual tradition. Cheers!

Christmas at the beach

This was our first “ run away” Christmas. It was an awesome experience. The house was great, the attention of the VaCasa team was excellent and the location was outstanding. The idea it was pet friendly was the deciding factor for us.. Great holiday!

Perfect spot

Fantastic location in the heart of Folly Beach! It was so great to be just steps from the beach and all the fun on Center Street. We did a lot of tourist exploring around Charleston during the day. But it was great to return to the laid back feeling of Folly Beach.

Christmas Lights

Came down to see the holiday festival of lights at James island county park and enjoy beach. Any day is a good day at beach. Location close to everything. Walk across street to beach. Would stay here again.
