Summary:
Sea Gate

The Space:
***Due to ongoing hurricane repairs and maintenance through April, the pool will be unavailable, construction noise will occur during the day, workers will be on-site, and balcony access may be limited at times.

Enjoy all that Indian Shores has to offer at Sea Gate 308, where panoramic coastal views await. Both elegant and eclectic, this Gulf-front condo boasts custom, contemporary design that makes it feel like a truly special vacation retreat.

Dual private balconies ensure that you never miss a view. Inside, the living area offers ample leather seating and chic coastal accents leading out onto the balcony. There's a well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast bar, as well as a dining area with a wine fridge and a table for six.

Beach chairs, beach towels, and a private washer/dryer are on hand for days spent in the Gulf waves below. After a day of activity, rest well in one of three bedrooms, including a primary suite with beachfront balcony access, a work desk with an extra monitor, and an en suite bathroom with custom tile work, an oversize walk-in shower, and dual vanities. Bonus features include free WiFi and TVs in the living area and all of the bedrooms.

The Sea Gate complex boasts a heated oceanfront pool, tropical lounge areas, and a grilling patio. As for Indian Shores, this quiet beach community sits just south of Indian Rocks Beach and is laden with Florida charm, fiery sunsets, and an assortment of shops and restaurants. Just 19 blocks long, it is known for its friendly atmosphere, lovely beaches, great seafood, and tropical wildlife. Indian Shores is also home to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, one of the largest nonprofit bird hospitals in the country, and the fun-filled Splash Harbour Water Park.

The county is completing an emergency beach erosion control project on the beaches in Pinellas County. The next stage is for Indian Shores beaches, which is scheduled for preparations on December 8, 2023, with work beginning on Monday, December 11, 2023. The project is slated to last until January 31, 2024. Beaches will be closed in the area during this time and will not be accessible to guests.

The place was immaculate clean. It had all the amenities it mentioned and THE VIEW, The view was worth everything!!! My family has decided that we will be back. We adored the place, the neach, the pool. Everything was amazing and the area super safe!Thank you, thank you, thank ypu!!

Construction issues

We were notified 3 days prior to our stay that the balcony was not going to be available. Once we arrived the key code on the door didn't work so we had to keep up with one key from the key box the whole time. We were told that someone was going to come by and fix the key code on the door but that never happened. The construction going on while we were there started around 8am and ended at 5pm so we really couldn't sleep in at all. The second day that we were there my wife got out of the shower only to see 3 workers on our balcony see her completely naked. We made the best of it but the entire situation was very unprofessional. We were reimbursed 508 for the issues so that was a plus. The location and beach were amazing. Beautiful sunsets every evening.

We would stay again

Things were a little rougher than we expected (from lingering hurricane aftermath). The slider to the balcony was rough and hard to use. We weren’t able to use the pool due to construction. Parking was confusing but we were able to make it work after a bit of communications. The beach was nice and a great location.

Perfect for Relaxation

5 members of my family stayed at this property in January 2025. Because of impending snow in the Baltimore area, we arrived in Florida 1 day early and my request for an early check-in was quickly granted. Communication with the property owner was easy and timely. The property was as described and there were no issues. We had a perfectly enjoyable stay. I would stay here again and would recommend this property to any family looking for a relaxing Southwest Florida getaway.

Cute Condo

We enjoyed our stay. Wish the owner/rental group would have been a bit more understanding when we were considering staying an extra day, but it worked out. No wine glasses, though. View was gorgeous. Wish the shower near the beach had been working so I could wash off after walking the beach, but may have been due to storms. Beds in kids room were TOO HARD. Otherwise, great stay.

Location, location!

We loved it! Cannot beat the location, steps away from the beach and sweeping views of the gulf from the condo. Unit was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Great communication with property manager and easy to check in/out. Perfect for our family and had very we needed, thank you!

Indian shores condo

I will never book a unit/property associated with Vacasa. Stay clear of this company. There response to issues was absolutely terrible. The keypad did not work and the combination given to the lock box was wrong so we had no access to the property.

Perfect Location to Ocean and Pool

We had a great stay! Condo was indeed spacious, comfortable, and accommodating. Location was perfect for our focus to relax, enjoy the ocean views/beach and have access to a heated pool and elevator. The main sliding door in the condo upon arrival to beachfront balcony would not slide (and we reported this right away) thus was not useable during our stay. This was disappointing, but luckily a second balcony access off the master bedroom was in working order for us to enjoy the sites and our time together. We would definitely love to come back to stay in this unit again.

First visit to Indian Shores

We loved the property with great beach view and the spacious condo. Access to restaurants, golf, grocery. Walkable area with pickleball court close by. Just a few small adjustments would be helpful; kitchen lacked set of measuring cups and spoons, master sheets did not fit well and lacked sufficient bath towel sets (one set per person). Nice kitchen and we cooked quite a bit.

Holiday vacation

We love the location of Indian Shores and our condo was close to everything. Beautiful views and easy access with the elevator and provided grocery and luggage carts. The weather did not cooperate for us to use the heated pool or spend too much time on the beach but plenty of places to shop. Just a short distance to Clearwater or Treasure Island. We will be back

Wonderful View

The unit was very spacious and it was clean. Wonderful view and access to the beach. One issue in which we were disappointed was that we could not get anyone to address the fact that the sliding doors in both the living area and the master bedroom were broken and no way to feel totally secure. Made a number of attempts to speak with someone but no responses. At a minimum, some sort of dowel rod could be provided to put in the floor tracks to keep the doors from sliding open.

Nice condo. Crowded area.

The condo was fine. Roomy with plenty of good bedding. Nice mattresses. My only complaint about the condo itself is there’s no vents in the bathrooms. There was hints of mold/mildew in cracks and crevices because of it. The area is extremely crowded. There’s a couple units across the street that have people coming over and crowding the beach. Overall it was ok. Just way more crowded than we’re used to.

Great Location

Overall great place! We had other families in the same building which made it easy to spend time with them. There was some pile of dirt in the living room when we arrived but we cleaned it up. We had challenges with the TV remote controls not working, missing batteries and overall usage. Instructions would be helpful for future guests. Plenty of space and loved having the end unit with extra balcony space. Everything was up to date.

Nice place

Started off that we got there early and had to wait outside door in heat for an hour. Doesn’t seem like anyone was in the condo before us. There were no leftover items. Like coffee, salt and pepper, things like that. Code would not work for door. Not sure if that was because Wi-Fi was off??I was expecting to find a binder that told some info about condo. There are blue chairs in the beach that a guy walks around to rent them to you for 35.00 per day. I thought these were the chairs that belong to condo.

Perfect beach location, excellent facility

Second year we rented this particular condo in the Seagate. It’s hard to beat the Seagate building. It’s perfect for our family of 8.
