Indian Shores is a quiet beach community just south of Indian Rocks Beach that is popular with everyone from snowbirds to seabirds. Fun and easy access to everything

We love Indian Shores and this location was great! Easy access to the beach and intercoastal dock was perfect. My grandson fished everyday and we were able to see manatees and Atlantic stingray from the doc. There is a family of raccoons living under the pool deck that were also entertaining. Overall a great experience. The lack of communication from Vacasa regarding the roofing construction was frustrating, loud, and a serious safety concern. Please do better Vacasa

Spring Break 2025

Property itself was exactly as described. Perfect location for families looking for a more relaxed atmosphere. When arrived we found our condo door open and someone parked in our parking stall. We found a maintenance man working in the washing machine but finished up quickly. The heated pool was only “heated” on our last day due to maintenance issues.

Close to b ach

Property is close to beach access and beach is gorgeous. Pool was nice and in the sun all day. Unit is stocked well enough for cooking and is very clean. My only negative is dealing with Vacasa the property's manager. It would have been nice to talk to a person who was local when we had a few minor issues.

Checking in and out is very easy. Location is great. The property manager was very responsive to any question and concerns we had durning our stay. All concerns addressed and very pleased with location, accuracy of listing, everyone was so kind, we made friends with those in the community and had an overall great week. Given the location we were able to fit in the pool and beach even with a busy family packed week being in town for a wedding. We will be back for another stay!

Spring 2024 get away

The property was very nice. Unfortunately the last day the keypad stopped working and we had to climb in a window, whenever we left the condo. . We called the only number listed and no one showed up to fix the problem. Very disappointed in the response from management.

Worst Condo that we have rented in Florida

We were given wrong codes to property 3 times, to get in the condo you must climb stairs after entry climb stairs to get to bedrooms & bath, very dingy many of the electrical outlets do not work, too many extension cords and electrical strips in use, parking inadequate many cars and trucks wouldn't fit in garage priced way to high for what you get . will never rent again from this property

Cozy condo by the beach

Our family had a wonderful time at this property! It had all the amenities we needed and gave us plenty of space. Images from the description are accurate. Very clean. Location to the beach was amazing! About a 3 minute walk to the public beach access. Also conveniently located to plenty of dining options and a mini mart. We enjoyed the fishing pier as well. We found a few damages upon arrival. One being the garage, but a repairman came out the next day to fix it. The Vacasa guest service phone line was very helpful. The other damages were items that didn’t affect our stay (a broken shelf in the closet, handprints on the garage door, a broken toilet paper holder, and a broken laundry closet door), but were reported to Vacasa to be addressed. All necessary amenities were great.

Pleasant Stay!

I booked Seashell 20 for my daughter's 16th birthday trip. The place was cozy and well stocked with towels, dishes and had an assortment of kayaks, paddle boards and a cart we could use to take to the short walk to the beach. The cart was a bit of a pain as it only has two back wheels but that was a ME issue not the cart itself! The ONLY issue i had was that there was a "moisture detection" machine plugged in to the wall in the dining room which I thought was a GREAT idea (to help detect any kind of water leaks with the hot water heater and/or air conditioner) UNTIL the machine started beeping NON STOP for the first day we were there. I called maintenance and they advised to reset the machine which i did however, it STILL beeped INCESSANTLY. I ended up calling maintenance again in which they told me to just unplug the machine. It wasn't the worst thing that could happen but a little annoying at first. All in all, i would definitely stay here again!

Honest review

Ok, I have had time to recoup from our trip and decompress. I wanted to leave a thorough and honest review. Pulling onto the property we were truly excited, we love this end of Florida there truly is nothing like it. I was given a code to get in through the garage (so I thought). The code they gave me for the garage door didn't work, I tried it multiple times at both sides of the garage. Even had my mom perform the code with me at the sametime at the other security pad..nothing. I pull up the information I had for this rental and we'll it took a bit to find who I was actually supposed to talk to. The lady I spoke with was very nice and helpful, she actually gave me the code to the door into the condo. I was also, emailed instructions that there were remotes for the garage door in the kitchen and a button for the garage by the front door. I used the button by the door go back down unpack the car only to notice there isn't an entrance into the condo from the garage? So if they only gave me the code to the garage door how was I supposed to get into the condo? Anyway, I shook it off took our stuff back up into the condo. I will say the condo is very nice and very well taken care. For the most part it was very clean and very welcoming. Oh, and the loveseat and couch in the livingroom wow! I took some of the best naps on those and I may look into getting some like those super comfortable! Actually everything in this home you can tell was very thought out the appliances, the cookware, down to the towels are top notch. Oh don't let me forget the beds! I take my sleep seriously because I have such a hard time sleeping away from home and these beds were wonderful! The property itself is well taken care of and mostly very quiet. The pool (although small) is wonderful, there is a little pier that my son fished off of on property he really loved it. Now, when I mentioned the two garage remotes which I thought would.be amazing because running up and down those steps and the steps aren't right in front of the condo well it gets very inconvenient. Long story short neither remote worked, I contacted the Vacasa people and I think it was two days or 3 they sent someone out to work on the problem. The guy couldn't fix them, he told me to tell the owner. Which was funny because I had been trying to contact the owner the entire time. So I sent an email. The beach is a longer than 3 min walk, but it's still gorgeous. I would say this all just needs better communicatio

Beautiful, Relaxed, Quiet, Not overcrowded location!

This was my first time using VRBO. It definitely will not be my last. The entire process was so easy. We stayed at SeaShell 20 in Indian Sores. Absolutely wonderful location. The condo was very comfortable for two adults and two teenagers. The pool was nice. We took advantage of the kayaks in the garage. Beautiful morning paddles on the intercoastal. We took the trolley up to Clearwater and down to John's Pass. Much better than driving and trying to park in those two areas. Fun relaxing vacation.

Very nice!

The property was as nice as the pictures and in a great location. We had no issues with anything not working while we were there and communication with the owners was perfect. You must try Lu Lu’s Ice Cream Shop right in front of the complex while you’re there as well!

Great stay in Indian Shores!

Our family of 4 had a great time at the seashell condo unit 20! Unit was clean and spacious. There were plenty of extra items for the beach - beach chairs, towels. umbrella, cart, cooler, sand toys, as well as paddle boards. Kayaks and bikes. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!!! We truly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked (every pot and pan you could ever need), bedrooms were spacious (with comfortable beds) and the garage was stock with every amenity you could ever want. Thanks for a truly enjoyable 4th of July!!!

Small issues

The place was nice and tidy. The manager was responsive. However, they offer nothing for cooking like spices and such. Every other place we’ve stayed at has these. Other issues is that they only give you 1 towel per person and since the wash machine does not work very good, that makes it difficult. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves.

Refreshing

We enjoyed a very refreshing vacation at this condo. The location is perfect as International Waterway is beside the condo and just across a two land beach road is the Gulf! The accommodations and bedding are excellent. Our only warning is the condo is up a flight of stairs outside the parking area and indoors the bedrooms are also up a flight of stairs.

Perfect

The hubs and I stayed here for the month of February. It was awesome! Great location! We love Indian Shores because it’s less crowded than other places. The condo was cozy and well appointed. Others have remarked on the noisy stairs, and I understand that. Didn’t bother us. The view of the Inter-coastal right outside the door was a plus. Some mornings we could watch the dolphins go by. Didn’t use the pool because it was cold. Nice though. I highly recommend this place. Loved all of it!
