Enjoy modern conveniences with our new microwave and stove, perfect for all your cooking needs. Plus, relax with a movie night on our new sleeper sofa.

Maiden Voyage is the perfect size for a couple or small family ready to enjoy a great vacation in the Outer Banks! This two-bedroom oceanside home is only five lots back and just a quick two-minute walk to the beach. The accommodations and decor will lend to the home away from home feel and a double bed and two single beds are available in the two bedrooms, with a queen sofa bed offering extra sleeping choices if needed.

After a long, fun-filled day at the beach, relax outdoors on the spacious sundeck and whet your appetite by the delicious smells of dinner being grilled up on the charcoal grill. Once dinner is finished, kick back on the deck and enjoy a beautiful sunset, always the perfect end to a great day. Maiden Voyage is in a convenient central Avon location close to restaurants and shops, giving you plenty of fun vacation diversions. Old house, clean.

The property was not well maintained, looked like it was stuck in the 70's, beaten up furniture that didn't match, but it was clean. With just a little care it would be a cute cottage. Few amenities were provided.

Vacation i add mayden voyage four or four

I enjoyed the comedians of getting there easily. However, the house was not anything.I'd look forward to using again.I prefer a better rental and as far as next summer.That's all look to upgrade to the betterhouse.There was no move on to use, we were not allowed to use the barbecue grill and the outdoor shower was at best rustic

Nice little beach house!

If you are one that needs everything shiny new/up to date then this little beach house is not for you. If you are like me & don't mind it being a bit worn, but very clean it is a great place. The price is right, the house feels very much like the beach. I truly enjoyed my time in this house and would stay in it again!

Maiden Voyage 404

The house was clean and ready. Check in was easy no issues. My wife and I stay there for a fishing trip. The only disappointment we had was access to the beach. Climbing steps and going over sand dunes with gear was very difficult. I recommend anyone going fishing in the Hatterias Island area to have 4 wheel drive trucks. It’s a must. But the house was great.

maiden Voyage 404 is in need of updates and repairs

We did not love anything about Maiden Voyage 404 and do not plan to ever return. It was not a good experience and the property was not well taken care of. It is in need of serious updates and improvements before renting to other guests.

House is in a quiet spot. Needs better cleaning, tub was not cleaned well, grim and build up around pull bar in shower under side of tub spout was nasty and broken, Dirty women’s underwear found in main room, dresser was broken. Drawer face was in closet no attempt to fix. Under the beds were dirty. Furniture is severely broken down.

Property is unsafe

I didn't love anything. The property is becoming run down and in disrepair. The floor under the refrigerator is rotten and caving in. The backdoor were unlocked when we got there. I injured my foot on nails sticking up on the deck. The light over the dining table didn't work. There wasn't enough towels, toilet paper, or trash bags, and there weren't any coffee filters. You're better off staying in a hotel or under a bridge.

It was okay!

Overall we can’t really complain too much. The double bed was extremely uncomfortable & loud. Like couldn’t roll over in your sleep without waking up kinda loud! Dishes were dirty - had to clean the ones we used before we used them. Living/dining room area & bathroom were great. Parking was great if you just have one car. For the price, it wasn’t bad! Definitely wouldn’t be willing to pay more. The price reflects the quality compared to other rentals!

Rundown property

Both backdoors were unlocked so the security code was pointless. The floor under the refrigerator is completely rotted through so DO NOT get too close. I cut my foot on a nail sticking up on the deck. The light over the dining table didn't work. There weren't enough towels, trash bags, or toilet paper. The body wash dispenser ran out firt day. There was no sink stopper, no dish rags, no coffee filters, and the same cracked ice trays that leaked two years ago are still there. My wife remembered that and had the presence of mind to bring our own. She also brought our oen shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toilet paper. Smart lady. The owner charges a huge cleaning fee but YOU are required to do all the cleaning before you leave. THAT IS A SCAM TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF YOU. We will NEVER stay here again. The place is turning into a dump and becoming unsafe.

Great Location

We stayed at this house for a whole week sunday-Sunday. Its the first time we've ever used this company or stayed in this house. The Pros... - it was a great size, fully stocked with everything you could need. - It was nice having a dishwasher and a washer and dryer too. - The location of this house was great and close to everything in avon. My teenage kids were able to walk or ride wherever they wanted to, and we were too. and it was just a short walk to the beach. The Cons.... - Check- in. you cant check in until late. we were told 6 but I called a few times and finally got in around 4. I have NEVER had such a late check in when staying down here. - that there was nowhere to put away any of the food that we brought (pantry items). - The beds were very uncomforable, and noisy (and I'm not talking adult time I'm talking just rolling over in your sleep) - every single dish that we pulled out of the cabinet or drawer was dirty, so thankfully we brought paper plates and plastic forks, or had to wash anything extra before we used it. All in all it wasn't a bad place to stay. The price was great and I WOULD recommend this house and rental company.
