Drop your kayak or paddle board off the dock and head out to the Pamlico Sound for some of the best sunsets! Stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and also includes a handy prep island. Cook on the outdoor gas grill. Sit on the porch to enjoy meals at the picnic table. Enjoy games including a giant 4-in-a-Row, corn hole and ping pong. TVs in every room for viewing enjoyment. Paddle board, double kayak, single child kayak, vests & oars available free. Book today and make lasting memories!

Wonderful little cottage that is perfect for a small family. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Mila, the owner, was wonderful about making sure we had everything we needed. Loved this place!

What a well furnished, clean, comfortable and cozy place to stay in Avon! The location was perfect and we hope to make a trip back again soon.

The property was awsome. The living spaces are adequate and very clean. The lounging area's are a wonderful place to have a great time with many games to choose from. But most of all is Mila, the constant host with all questons answered and a outstanding instructions. Definitely a keeper for next rental getaway.

This is our second stay at Mila’s beach property. It’s perfect for our small family - two young daughters & our dachshund. We love the kayaks and screened in porch. The house is very cozy and has literally everything we need! We would definitely consider staying again. Mila is a great host with a beautiful home.

Wonderful Weekend!

My family and I had a great celebrating my birthday at this beautiful house. It was perfect for everything we wanted to do while at the beach. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and ping pong table. Thank you for such a great stay! We would love to come back!

Our family of 5 loved our stay at your property. Our favorite was the screened-in porch! Every night was spent out there (safe from those vicious OBX mosquitoes ). Everything was as listed; very clean, stocked kitchen, SUP & kayaks were great fun & the beach chairs were nice to use. We left 3 boogie boards for the next family to use at the ocean. We loved the close proximity to so many places, the sound & of course, the 5 minute walk to the ocean was our favorite! Thank you

Better than expected

This place was absolutely wonderful. Everything was clean and I had no issues. I love how the owner gave me a run down of where everything was and how everything worked. My stay was absolutely perfect. The house was clean and inviting, the grocery store was 5mins away( easy to find), and beach access was across the street.

OBX Vaction

The house was exactly what was pictured! Very clean and stocked with everything that you would need! I timed the walk to the beach 3-4 minutes! My family loved having the ping pong table, bean bag toss, the dock to fish & crab off of and the kayaks & paddle board to use during our stay! I would recommend taking the kayak to the end of the channel where it opens up to the bay to watch the sunset! Yo won’t be disappointed! We loved the laidback atmosphere of the town, uncrowded beach and small town feel! We would definitely recommend staying here and returning for another vacation!

Love it!

This was a beautiful home in the perfect location. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. My family loved the water access and kayaks in the backyard. The walk to the beach was a breeze. The home was beautifully decorated and met all our needs. Only recommendations would be some pantry space (maybe a small extra storage space by microwave wall) and a dresser in the master bedroom. But even with those small overlooks, everything was perfectly described and my children loved all the extra amenities. I personally looooved the screen porch and string lights. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We’ll be looking to stay here again next summer.

Great Location, Fun Amenities!

This was our first visit to Avon and this property gave us the perfect opportunity to enjoy both the sound and ocean side. It was an easy few minutes walk to the ocean and we enjoyed having the water view of the creek and sound at the house. We particularly enjoyed throwing the fishing net off the dock and the kayak & paddleboard that we took out to the sound for sunset on our last evening. Of note, please do take the "bring bug spray" suggestion from the host seriously. In the late afternoon/early evening when we are out doing those activities, the mosquitos were out in force. We visited for a long weekend -- if we had more time, we would have enjoyed the provided outdoor amenities (crab trap, hammock, ping pong table, corn hole) even more. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this cute little property and would be happy to return for a future stay!

And yes the mosquitoes in the island are fierce and that's why I screened in the porch so everyone can still be virtually outside without the bugs.
