New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

Enjoy beautiful views of the ocean and sound when you stay at Sandy Cay this year! This spacious four-bedroom cottage comes with comfortable furnishings, pleasing decor, and many extras to help you have a great vacation. Relax in the great room featuring a cathedral ceiling and get some good entertainment with the flatscreen TV. Plenty of delicious meals can be cooked up in the large kitchen with a breakfast bar. Two refrigerators with ice makers will ensure you can store all your goodies this trip.

Enjoy free long distance during your stay and plenty of entertainment options with five TVs, five DVD players, and a stereo/CD player. At the end of a fun-filled day, head outside to relax on the furnished decks and screened-in porch or climb up to the rooftop deck in time to catch a beautiful sunset. With so many great features and extras in a fantastic property, this could be your best vacation ever! Come stay at Sandy Cay on your next trip to the Outer Banks and let the fun begin!

Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility, located at the Avon office address: 41156 Hwy 12, Avon, NC 27915. The pool is generally open from May 24 to September 8, from 10 AM to 6 PM. Please note that the operation of community pools is subject to the discretion of the state inspector, management, and/or the HOA. As a result, the availability schedule may change without prior notice.

Wonderful!

Our family had a fantastic time staying at this home on our vacation. It was large, it was clean, it had everything we needed, it was easy walking distance to beach access. The widow's walk was our favorite place to sit and hang out.

From making reservations to check out, easy and professional

Nice, location close enough to beach. Great design for larger family, nice privacy, quiet at night for sleeping, cool and comfortable. Slightly dated but overlooked that, it is a beach house. offered outside showers, wonderful decks and screen porch. Enjoyed our stay very much and would go back.

Great property location to the ⛱ but get your food shopping done before heading to the house for the week unless you wanna travel 25mins for food.

OBX Getaway

Myself and some friends decided to book a beach getaway in the Outer Banks. This how was quite affordable, is in a great location, and has plenty of room. I wish there had been more game/beach related items on property. The screened in porch and crow’s nest were the highlights of this house! We loved our stay and would book again.

This house was perfect for our small family`s quarantine vacation! Clean and comfortable, super close to the beach. The outdoor shower was convenient, and the beds were very comfortable. While the house lacks a dishwasher and the bathrooms are small and in need of updating, everything was clean and in perfect working order. We had a BLAST! Would definitely stay here again! Home is spacious. Two of the 4 bedrooms have private baths. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms share a bath.The furnishings are dated (the online description notes that the home offers free long-distance calling). But the old furniture gives the place a "homey" feel, like going to Grandma's beach house.

Great house.

We loved that it was on a quiet part of the island with only a 5 min drive to things in the north and 20 mins both ways to towns. The beach was a short walk away. The house was roomy and supplied with a pretty full kitchen. Beds were comfy. Loved the spare fridge on bottom level so less carrying. Surprisingly, woody with NO Mosquitoes. The deck needs a lot of work and new couches and chairs. Pool was a 20 min drive but very worth it. We highly recommend this property if you like quiet vacations with short drives to towns.
