A unique home

the property is very private and felt like we owned the beach. Very clean and kitchen was well stocked. It would have been nice to know there were lots of beach chairs and umbrellas on property. Also mgmt company couldn't say if a keurig was on site, it was. I get they can break, etc.big issue was pool wasn't heating. Reported Sunday and fixed on Wednesday after I followed up four times with texts. We could finally use it on Thursday. They really wanted to be five star and most things were but must do better with the pool to rate five star in my opinion. Property was as described and very spacious for 8 adults and several kids under 10.

Beautiful property and perfect for large family gatherings. Loved being right on the beach for swimming, fishing and shelling. This home was well equipped with kitchen items and beach gear. Pool could have been a little warmer.

Best sunsets on Captiva

A place to make memories! My favorite place that I have stayed on Sanibel or Captiva. Big enough for our entire family (12) pool kept the kids busy all day when it was to hot on the beach. The sunsets are top notch, and the view from the crows nest is next level. We will be back

We got a new attitude at New Latitude!

We loved staying in this home. Well-appointed, super clean, fantastic layout. They thought of everything. We loved the privacy- we might have seen ten or twelve other people on the beach on a given day. Proximity to the villages of Captiva and Sanibel allowed us access to people and shopping if we felt like being social. The management company was helpful and communicated promptly about any questions that arose.

Thank you for your review. Our team inspects after each departure to make sure everything is as perfect as possible. Our apologies for the AC as things can happen from time to time. The service techs did come out after hours and rectify the issue for you. Also, the stove top vent is being looked at. Magical family vacation!

We had a fabulous week at New Latitude! The setting is spectacular and the home is even better than pictured. Lovely views from every direction. We have rented quite a few times on Captiva and this one takes the cake. Home is very clean, kitchen well organized enough towels for everybody etc. Everything you need is here. The sunsets at this home are perfection! 10+ stars. We hope to return with our family again in the future.

Family Vacation

We took our whole family of 14 to New Latitude for vacation. The house has every form of beach entertainment imaginable. The beach is gorgeous with gentle waves and crystal clear water. We could have easily fit more people in the house. The pool is amazing. There were a few problems but the worst was the daily landscaping visits early in the morning. Very noisy! The location is convenient to so many places. But you will need a car. We will be going back! We loved New Latitude.

Great family trip!

What a fantastic property! The views out the back on the huge decks cannot be matched! We had a wonderful time with a grandmother, her three kids/spouses, and 5 grandchildren. Things to note for people with littles…the pool is in the middle of the house with 6 some doors able to access it. We had two kids in our group that could not swim. We kept a close eye at all time, but the pool added an extra layer of stress to the trip. Just an FYI. Loved the 3 fridges and all the entertainment on lower level outside. Nicer kitchen appliances/finishes (coffee maker, stovetop, etc) and nicer bathroom finishes (dorm like showers and plastic sink hardware) would be nice for this price point, but the views balance it out. We had a great experience!

Amazing location, the property and amenities are very well described. Our family enjoyed the access to the gulf, the pool and the outdoor spaces. The communication from the host prior to the stay and the text updates during the stay was appreciated.

We have already recommended New Latitude to some of our friends. Having the private beach basically in your backyard is such a benefit. It’s so easy to carry everything that you need when it’s so close. The house has so many things to make the beach and ocean so enjoyable. Umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, paddle boards, sand buckets,… The size of the house allowed couples and individuals their own beds and bathrooms. The decks were spacious and well equipped, and a major factor was that it was clean.
