This was the last stay of our 2 week vacation. We stayed at 4 other beach homes on different beaches and this was by far the worst. It was also the most expensive and dirty. There was a strong odor (like kerosene) when we entered the home. No biggie. We got settled in and noticed flying ants in the house. We killed about 10 in the kitchen and found some in our bed sheets. My daughter was scared to sleep in the other beds so she ended up sleeping in mine. We went to shower and noticed that majority of the towels were stained, so we stuck them in the washer to find out that the dryer on the main floor did not work. We used one on the bottom floor and noticed the inside of that dryer was rusted. An appliance repairman came to try to fix the dryer and stated the owner needed to buy a new one and he could not fix this one. Anyone renting this unit should note that there are no beach towels provided nor beach chairs like the other homes we rented. The home is right on the beach which means there is not much space for many people. Essentially, if a family puts up a tent, you have no room to put one behind it. U will need to walk further down. All in all, very disappointed at this home and would not rent again.

Beach towels and beach equipment are only included when specifically noted in a property’s listing, and we appreciate your feedback regarding those expectations as well.
