Escape to a serene 2-bedroom cottage on FIDDLER LAKE in Mille-Isles in the Laurentians. This cozy retreat features 1 queen bed, 1 bunk bed (full bed on the bottom and twin on the top) perfect for a small group of guests. With 2 newly redesigned bathrooms equipped with a hairdryer and shower and in unit laundry appliances. The den offers an additional queen bed for extra guests’ comfort. We hope you'll enjoy your stay at our cottage.
Please be advised that only paying guests are welcome on the property (and never more than 7 paying guests). Rates are based on double occupancy.If there are more than 2 guests, a surcharge will be applied. Guests are obliged to communicate with the host as to the number of guests that will be present and the number of rooms required. The second bedroom,otherwise, will be unavailable.

Very clean and good communication with the host. Cottage was very well equipped with kitchen appliances and outdoor equipment.

The host was extremely welcoming and her property is an absolutely perfect nature retreat. Completely comfortable and cozy. Located directly on a lake, warm wood burning fireplace, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and a lovely hot tub. The host was available for communications at all times if we had questions or if any clarifications were needed. We hope to rerun to this property in the summer ! Also, her own gorgeous artwork decorates the cottage and is available for purchase. Really talented artist, and her paintings added so much charm to the place.

Unfortunately, our pleasant stay was marred by the host's claim that we left the door ajar and damaged the lock. We left the cottage as we found it, and did our usual check that all doors and windows were closed. We have refused to pay the charges, but 500 was automatically deducted from our account. Complaints are a hassle and take time, so we don't have a resolution yet. I have learned that I should always take pictures as proof that there was no damage. The cottage itself was pleasant. Be aware that the 'den' is actually an part of the open kitchen / living room. The lake is dark and not inviting for swimming and there is no easy entry for small kids. There is no AC.

I have been a host for over 10 years with VRBO. It is NEVER a pleasant experience to have to keep the damages deposit. It is certainly not the goal of ANY host…. And definitely not my goal. The guest has left an unfavorable review based on the fact that I was obligated to keep her deposit. An emergency locksmith had to be called to render the door functional for the next guests arriving that day! As well, the door handle and electronic lock had to be replaced ( as it was not repairable ) and installed. This whole affair has left me out of pocket $171.83… on top of the $500. Certainly NOT what any host wants to have to experience and deal with! Lakes in the laurentians are typically dark. It’s the bottom that determines the color. Rest assured the water is crystal clear and sparkling!-even safe to drink! The den is in fact off to the side and quite private. Furthermore, it is clear in my description that there is no a/c but there are oscillating fans. There is an easy enough yet a bit rocky access to the lake aside from the ladder on the dock which is depicted in my photos. While the guest was at my cottage , she offered no complaints whatsoever. Sadly accidents happen ( even to nice people) and that is the reason there is a refundable damages deposit.

Our stay was fantastic! Everything was thoughtfully arranged. The cottage was equipped with all the necessary utensils and kitchen appliances, plus some extras. The surrounding area was incredibly quiet and beautiful, with a well-maintained deck and stairs leading to a lake that ended in a dock. We stayed during winter, but I’m already planning to pack my swimsuit for our next visit. Our host was amazing, always checking in to ensure everything was going smoothly. Even without asking, they gave us extra hours for our late checkout. This is one of the best cottages I’ve ever stayed in.
