I wouldn’t describe this as “resort style”. The front porch smelled like cats and cat urine when we walked up to the door. Come to find out, this house is where 5 neighborhood or stray cats hang out regularly. Under and on our vehicle, under the back porch, around the pool, etc. We despise cats so we spent a lot of time shoo-ing them away. It’s a tri-level so the temperature where the bedrooms are is very hot compared to the main or lower levels. We had to purchase box fans to stay cool in evenings. The full bath at the top of stairs doesn’t have an exhaust fan so the steam and heat just rolled out into the other rooms. The kitchen is not stocked for as many people as this place holds- maybe 5 spoons and forks, etc. pans are not good, hardly any utensils. The plates in the cabinet had dust balls on them and one had leftover food stuck to it. I felt like I was cleaning everything and every surface before using anything. The TV in kitchen didn’t work bc it didn’t have a block to plug Roku into. The electrical box outside was hanging out w exposed wires- owner fixed quickly, but we shouldn’t walk into a place that has that. It seems like this house sits stale (blankets smelled like dust) until booked and owners wait for complaints then try to fix. Had I seen the March review, we would have cancelled our stay. Back porch had 5 useable seats, the other 3-4 were broken or rusted. This place sleeps 16- there should be enough seating for 16.

We always encourage guests to notify us of any issues so we have the opportunity to investigate and resolve them promptly. During your stay, we responded quickly and addressed the items we were made aware of. We take cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction seriously and continuously invest in improvements to the property.

The tile on the stairs going to the basement are a hazard. They are broke and come off when stepping on them. We had several guests that fell due to this. The carpets in the basement are nasty and need cleaned. Also, the master bedroom sink faucet is basically unusable.it is completely loose and is so limed up that the handle doesn’t move. Plus the sink only had hot water so had to use other restrooms to brush our teeth. Finally, and the biggest disappointment, was the backyard. It was so overgrown with weeds and has not been maintained. It looked awful. Also, the patio couch by fire pit was broke and the sliding door to go in and out needs work as it is very difficult to open and close. Communication was prompt and very helpful with property manager which was an advantage.

Thank you for your feedback, we take all concerns seriously, especially regarding safety. The stairs mentioned do have some cosmetic cracking, which is common with tile over time; however, they are stable and do not lift or shift when stepped on. We are having them further evaluated to ensure continued safety for our guests. Regarding the backyard, it is maintained regularly. Due to seasonal conditions, the grass is currently dormant, which can sometimes be mistaken for lack of upkeep. That said, we are addressing minor weeds to enhance its appearance. All other items mentioned have been reviewed by our team and addressed to ensure everything is functioning properly. We appreciate your feedback and are glad our communication was helpful during your stay. We remain committed to providing a safe and comfortable experience for all guests.

The house was large enough for our extended family of 10, however it is far from “resort-style”. After a long day of traveling we were met with unsaid dirty beds. The bathrooms did not have towels when we got into the linen closet for towels we were met with a very strong cigarette smell which over took the whole upstairs. I contacted the host who apologized and said she was informing the cleaning staff and would have someone out the next morning. Because it was not evening we ended up cleaning the sheets and remaking the beds so we could all get some sleep. The card table was broken the fire pit did not work and the pool table ball holder was busted. I understand it is winter in Oklahoma but the back yard was not maintained there was garbage and dog poop on the porch and yard. The back door was hard to open and did not lock you had to use a pole for the lock. The carpets were stained the downstairs floors had food dirt and hair on them one of the beds was broken and held together with a metal strap. This place states it sleeps 16 and that’s because they cram beds everywhere. You can’t get into one of the closets and can barley get into the master bath due to beds blocking the doors. We had to was any dishes prior to use and the inside of the convection oven was filthy. I was told all of this was to be expected due to this being an older house but the filth of the place is not due to age it’s neglect. The name of this listing should be updated. I do not recommend.

Everything was wonderful! The pool was great, and the beds were clean. The only thing was I didn't get the check-in information until a few hours before check-in, which was a little stressful.
