Laurelhurst is a quiet neighborhood of tree-lined streets in NE Seattle. It is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the light rail station. Within easy walking distance, there is the UW Botanical Garden, a great lakeside park for walking or jogging, the Burke-Gilman trail which lets you walk or ride your bike all the way across town, bagel bakeries, a beer garden, a big cafe perfect for studying or meeting friends, a grocery store and University Village, an upscale open-air shopping mall with restaurants, bars, and fancy stores.
