The apartment stays comfortable year-round, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. Whether you’re here for a quick trip or an extended stay, this phenomenal spot offers a peaceful retreat. Experience the magic of Sioux Falls at our apartment.
Welcome to our Cozy Place, close to everything in Sioux Falls. When you step into this basement apartment style unit, you can’t help but appreciate the fresh and updated look with a warm and inviting feel. This house is built as a triplex. This listing is the newly remodeled basement unit/apartment and you will have your privacy and enjoy the comforts it provides.
You will enter at the side door of the house and head down a fairly steep staircase to reach the front door of this basement level apartment. It is very comfortable for one or two people.
Guests may access the side entrance, the basement level apartment. Guests are not to access the front of the house. Guests are welcome to utilize the backyard for pet's needs.
We do not live on the premises, but we are available to contact for questions or concerns.
We are workaholics. We go to bed early and rise early. If you need to get a hold of us for any reason after 9pm, please be sure to *call* us & do not just text or message us. As hosts, we always want to be available for you, but we need our sleep too. ;-) We are more apt to wake up to a ringing phone and more apt to sleep through the single ding of a text or message. We want to assist in any way we can, so please be sure to keep calling until we answer. :-)
Please remember this is a newly, remodeled basement apartment in an old house. There are "old house characteristics". The floors and walls creak, etc. The unit is usually kept cool but can easily warm up with the portable heater provided. There are no ac controls in this apartment so we keep the apartment on the cooler side. The apartment can be heated with the portable heater. The other two apartment units in this house are also STR’s and rented out nightly.
Check in is at 4pm or after.
If you intend to come and go past 10pm, this is not be the best option for you as noise level needs to be respected from 10pm-7am. No guest visits past 10pm.
Please remember this is a triplex so being loud, disruptive, playing music or instruments at anytime is prohibited so that noise level is respected for every guest in each apartment.
Internet is available. TV is ROKU, so you will be able to watch tv through your own subscriptions such as Netflix or Hulu.
Please take shoes off if they are snowy or muddy.
PARKING: Available parking will be street parking due to the driveway being a shared driveway with the neighbor. You are welcome to park in the driveway short term for loading purposes only.
Pet/Animal owners: animals must be well behaved and outside potty trained dogs only that do not bark or are disruptive to neighbors or guests in the above apartments. No cats. There is a maximum of one dog allowed in apartment at any time. Animals are not to be on the furniture or beds so as not to leave fur or dirt on the upholstery or bedding. If any violations occur, you may be asked to evict property without refund. If you complete your booking, it means you agree to these terms.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING NUMBER OF GUESTS AT PROPERTY ( We only implement this rule if we begin receiving complaints) : To help prevent property damage, parties and “get togethers” or other disturbing behaviors we require the following: The number of guests allowed to enter the property must match the number of guests on the reservation. Example: If a booking guest includes 2 guests on the reservation then a maximum of 2 guests are allowed on the property. Any violation will be reported to VRBO and will result in eviction of property and or termination of the reservation without refund. Again, this is only to help prevent any unpleasant situations as the slow, winter season tends to bring an influx of short notice bookings that result in such behaviors & situations. If you complete your booking, it means that you agree to these terms.
