The Palace Resort is close to lots of activities. Just a short drive from the airport. Also close to Murrells Inlet for fishing and located close to golfing, miniature golf, the Boardwalk, and lots of restaurants. Beach access was the main reason we chose the room and the beach view was beautiful as well. Room worked well for a family of 5.

There was not a Keurigcoffee maker so we had to go shopping as soon as we got here. The hair dryer and TV didn't work in double bed room unless you knew your personal code to Netflix . Other than that. It was a great trip.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beds were curtains in bedroom it was like sleeping in daylight all night. Very small deck hardly enough room for 2 people. Thought we were getting ocean front and it was just side view. It was clean . Got home and they said one of the little rubber pool brackets were missing and charged $25 will not stay there again

This condo was great. Beds were comfy. Plenty of space for our family. View of the beach. Pools and hot tubs were clean. Very basic, minimum items supplied. We would stay here again. Cons: No baking tray or pizza cutter We just bought our own Restaurant was not open, was not made aware of that. A lot of people at the pools that didn’t even rent from the resort. Security was on it some days but most days not. Overall not a bad resort.

Upon arrival, we learned the elevator in the parking deck was out of order for at least 6 months. That's quite inconvenient for seniors who have to walk up and down flights of stairs. While the pictures showed a lovely condo, in reality, the curtains were stained and rotten, the kitchen was ill-equipped and the back door to the very small deck could hardly be opened and closed. The kitchenware was plastic with nothing of even minimal quality to drink and eat off of. The toilets were not secured to the floor or wall and sound it as if they would give way anytime you use them. The TV in the master bedroom was not connected to anything and the door from the master onto the deck was inoperable. The only good thing I can say, the beds we're comfortable. Not much to recommend about this place
