Relaxing and enjoyable

Great place to stay. Peaceful and quiet. Barbecue the first night and burned wood in the firepit. Inside accommodation inside was just what we thought perfect. Will definitely come back.

The cabin was cozy and clean, with the hot tub positioned perfectly. The mattress was extra firm, but the air conditioning unit in the bedroom was quite loud. Don’t forget to bring charcoal for the grill!

We really enjoyed our birthday weekend getaway here. The cabin is very clean and QUIET. Everything was exactly as described. The only negative was the bed. It is very hard and uncomfortable.

Great Cozy Cabin

Great place to relax outside of Wimberley TX. Hot tub worked perfectly and the inside of the cabin was clean and cute. It was raining but that didn’t hamper any of the amenities besides the fire pit, which we wouldn’t have used anyways. Location is secluded but only a 10 minute drive from down town Wimberley. Perfect.

Nice place, terrible communication from management company.

We enjoyed our stay at this location! We did think it was secluded by the pictures but there are 4 more cabins right behind it. Our biggest issue was messaging whoever runs the property and never getting a response. I asked 2 questions on different days and I’m still waiting for a response back. If you were to have any major issues here, you might be in trouble.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We celebrated our 20 year anniversary here. There are houses nearby, but the trees provide a nice buffer so you feel like your in your own bubble. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. I've seen comments regarding blinds on the windows. This wasn't an issue for us. The only complaint, which wasn't really an issue until checking in for our flight, was the spotty internet service. Would gladly stay here again. Oh yeah....very upset I never got to see the neighbors peacock. :-)

Relaxing getway

Our stay was peaceful and relaxing will definitely do it again. The drive from town was easy about 5 to 10 mins. The cabin is surrounded by trees which made it secluded from neighbors.

Easy to get to, but still peaceful and relaxing. Back deck is surrounded by trees. Cabin was the perfect size.

The Stable

Property was very clean and partially secluded which was nice. There was not a lot of ambient noise (traffic) so it was nice to sit outside at night and listen to nature. Close (5-10 min) drive to Downtown Wimberly - so location was extremely convenient. Overall we had a great experience.

Nice, clean cabin, enjoyed hot tub, could use window coverings in living room & dining room. Should put porch swing under porch roof not the edge, it was raining so swing was wet.

Perfect getaway

The Stable was the perfect little cabin for a getaway for my husband and me. Despite the weather turning frigidly cold, we enjoyed cozying up in the cabin and utilizing the hot tub as often as possible. The cabin is right off the road but it's not a heavily traveled road and the setting is actually quite peaceful. Because of the freezing temps we didn't get out and about to Wimberley and surrounding area as much as we would have liked but as I said, the cabin was a great place to hole up for a few days. Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well stocked, and they even had a little space heater that came in handy. If we ever head that way again, we would definitely consider staying here.

Beautiful cabin

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The pictures don’t do it justice! It’s the cutest place! The hot tub was so nice during the chili nights. We love all the trees surrounding the property. We will be back again!

The Stable cabin was wonderful. Very clean and pleasantly quite considering there was a road close by. You have everything you need in the cabin for a very enjoyable time. The hot tub was great for the cold weekend. We will definitely be back in the future.

Great cabin!

Cabin is very clean and comfortable. They had it well supplied with all the little things you might not think to bring. Was a little close to the road but was not a busy highway. Trees did a pretty good job blocking you from the other cabins. We enjoyed watching the deer, fox, and birds (bought some feed at a local feed store to draw them in and stay longer - not sure that the feeder gets filled very often). Very enjoyable stay close to a lot of main attractions.

A peaceful stay

We spent 3 night at A Country Place - "The Stable". It sets separate from the other cabins giving you lots of privacy. It's a very peaceful & relaxing place. The town of Whimberly is a small friendly community with village style shops.
