This little home away from home was very nice. It was quiet and the host was great! It is a little bit out in the country so a little drive back into Hutchinson but we didn’t mind.

Nice place to stay during the state fair. A little drive but it's easy to get to and quiet. Plenty of room for a trailer that we ended up not needing to use. I may have missed the instructions but we had to look for the correct door. It's just north of the house in the end of a detached shop/garage.

Our host was excellent, they left the lights on for us after finding out we would be a late arrival. We had a question about the property and got a prompt response. The property looks just like the pictures on VRBO. We love the farmhouse view and all of the sweet family pets. This location is close to family and I plan to stay here again. Thanks to my host family for a great weekend.

We were looking to get away from the fireworks on the 4th of July. This worked perfectly. We were far enough from Hutchinson that we did not hear any fireworks. Our dogs were comfortable and so were we. The space was laid out well with plenty of room to spread out. We had a couple of minor issues and the host was so attentive and eager to make things work for us. We enjoyed the farm fresh eggs from the chicken on the property. Overall a very quiet enjoyable weekend.

It was a quaint little place, exactly what I needed it for, with plenty of space. I like the seclusion of the location, while still being on a major highway that will take you to town 15 minutes either direction. Hosts were sweet and left farm fresh eggs and coffee for me.

Our stay here was very nice. The unit was in good shape. The grounds of the property were also well kept. The bed was comfortable, and there is a giant TV in the living room. Only thing that was a bummer, and it wasn't that big of a deal but there is not a smart TV in the bedroom. Only get 3 channels. The view of the sunset from the entryway patio of the unit is breathtaking! Bring your lawn chairs so you can sit outside and enjoy it.We would definitely stay here again.

Host was not around when we got there a little after check-in. Had to wait 45 minutes for him to show up to let us in at the door would try to let us in but wouldn't unlock. Said he should replace the lock because it does this on occasion. And we were late to where we were going because of this. When we got in room looked clean. We went to make coffee and a moldy filter and coffee meet us. But he did promise to replace whole machine and he did. We went to state fair and when we got home once again for for not work. I texted him and about 20 minutes later he got should of us but I kept trying and we made it in. We felt like we were being controlled of when we were coming and going. In the morning they ask you to strip the bed and imagine our surprise when the mattress was stained and dirty. Not a good way to end our one overnight stay in a VRBO property. There's was also a camera in the front room that he said was noon functional but how did we know. We just saw it hanging in the living room where it was not supposed to be. We called VRBO and they mediated between us. They did ake care of us. But it didn't need to be that hard at all. Just remember for all places that you stay that you stay not just this one do your due diligence and check before you unload.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry that your stay did not meet the standard we strive for. The lock issue was frustrating, and we understand how the delay affected your plans. We have taken steps to address the lock so future guests do not experience the same problem. We also apologize for the coffee filter issue. Once it was brought to our attention, we replaced the coffee maker as promised. Regarding the camera mentioned in the review, we understand your concern. The device was not operational, but we recognize that simply seeing a camera inside the property can understandably make a guest uncomfortable. We have addressed the situation to avoid any confusion for future guests. We’re glad VRBO was able to assist in resolving things during your stay. We take guest feedback seriously, and while some of the issues were unexpected, we appreciate you bringing them to our attention so we can improve the experience for the next guest.
