Great place to stay for a family

This was a perfect place for our stay in Colorado Springs. I have stayed in several HomeAways and this was the best stocked house ever! We enjoyed our stay and having the space to spread out, but also join together to play board games and pool. I will definitely stay here again, when we travel to Colorado Springs.

Relaxing Family Get Together

We had a wonderful stay at this clean, comfortable house! The space was terrific for our extended family of 6. We enjoyed playing games at the kitchen table and hanging out in both living spaces. The WiFi was easy to use and the host was very helpful.

Phil was awesome. Very responsive. House was nice but beds were just too soft and made a lot of noise. Also, if you slept in downstairs bedroom you hear every movement from people upstairs. Floors creak a lot. Nice that 3 rooms have queen bed and 1 had twins. Kitchen was great and stocked. Downstairs bathroom shower is odd. Bathroom needs more lighting for getting ready. Also a full size mirror in downstairs bedroom would be awesome.Rooms need brighter lighting also. Also would be nice to have full size ironing board. Would also be good to have patio light that works so we dont get back in dark. Otherwise, house was nice. Thank you Phil for everything!!

Comfortable, Spacious and Convenient

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was spacious, clean and the owner was attentive and available for any questions we may have had. This property was conveniently located for our weekend and we would not only recommend but will choose this property for any return trip.

Clean, safe and cozy place.

The reservation process and check in was a breeze. The house is located in a nice neighborhood. Inside the house is clean and as described. Clean rooms and well stocked kitchen. Beds are ok, but that’s just a preference. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Colorado Springs.

The Center of it All

We had quite the week - military commissioning, graduation, wedding, and then throw in some sightseeing. Homebase was this property. It fit our needs perfectly. Centrally located to everything (we were no more than 20 minutes from every place we needed to visit). Having a split level made it convenient to give every member of our family space. Phil was an amazing attentive host. Spacious, well stocked kitchen made preparing needed meals easy. Have a busy schedule planned for Colorado Springs and you need to get convenient homebase? Consider this property!

Poor Cleanliness

Dirty oven. Dog hair on bed.. dirty towels, dirty glasses and cups so we buy clorox to clean everything.

Excellent staging location

We visited many colorado springs attractions and this location was within 15 minutes or less to most of them. Fully stocked for cooking breakfast, lunch, or supper at the house. I would stay again if I were to come back to the area.

Clean house with everything you need.

We really enjoyed this house. All we had to bring was food and clothes. Even had a deck in the back yard to relax and have a few drinks. Its also a very quite neighborhood. If we come back to Colorado springs, we would reserve this house again.

Nice place!

This house was in a quiet neighborhood and was close to main roads. We never had to drive too long for restaurants, groceries, or fun activities. The house was a nice size and setup for our family.

Great stay in Colorado Springs

Phil's property offered our family of 4 plenty of room for a socially distant visit to Colorado. With 4 bedrooms, we had plenty of room to spread out for virtual schooling and working remotely. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, the washer/dryer made it easy to do laundry, and the deck was a beautiful place to have lunch. We were delighted to see deer in the front yard twice during our stay. The neighborhood, while a bit rundown looking, did not feel unsafe. There is a park just down the street that provided a good, quick energy release for the kids. Only issue was a lack of additional toilet paper beyond what was on the roll but, as there was plenty of additional papertowels and trash bags, I believe this was simply an oversight on the part of the cleaning crew. We bought out own, no harm done. We would definitely stay at Phil's again.

Hello! I am a 4th generation Colorado native. I have had the fortune of traveling many places in my life but always look forward to coming back to Colorado. There is a lifetime of things to see and do right here in Colorado. My family and I enjoy hiking, backpacking, skiing, snowboarding and traveling to the many wonderful places and towns here. I have 2 kids one in elementary and one in middle school. I love to get lost in the wilderness but then enjoy ending my day in the comforts of an inviting and relaxing home. This is the experience that I would like to share and create for you.

The home combines the feel of colorful Colorado and features my own original artwork throughout the home. Each of our bedrooms our designed carefully in order to enhance comfort so that each of our guests can enjoy a peaceful and restful night of sleep. Two of our queen beds have brand new Serta innercoil pillowtop mattresses while the third queen bed features a supportive firm memory foam mattress. The bunk bed mattresses and pullout mattress are also brand new. Enjoy our spacious fenced backyard with mountain views.
