If you're looking to hike the Appalachian Trail or search for wildlife in Cades Cove, the boundary of Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only one mile south. And Pigeon Forge - the home of Dollywood, WonderWorks, the Hollywood Wax Museum, The Island in Pigeon Forge, and an assortment of dinner theaters - is eight miles north.
