The Space:

Perched on a gentle hill just 200 feet from public beach access, this custom-built Lincoln City retreat invites you to slow down, breathe in the ocean air, and truly settle into the rhythm of the coast. While not oceanfront, the elevated setting rewards you with sweeping Pacific views - especially from the home’s stunning top floor, making it easy to feel connected to the water from nearly every gathering space.



Designed with groups and families in mind, the home unfolds across three spacious levels. The entire top floor is dedicated to living and entertaining, where an open-concept living room, dining area, and beautifully appointed kitchen come together in one bright, welcoming space. Large windows frame the ocean beyond, creating a natural backdrop for morning coffee, shared meals, and evenings by the gas fireplace. Whether you’re cooking together or relaxing after a beach day, this level is made for connection. Step outside onto the wraparound deck to take in the view, feel the sea breeze, and watch the light change over the water.



The second floor offers a thoughtful and comfortable bedroom layout, with three bedrooms on one level. Ideal for families or friends traveling together. The spacious primary suite is a true retreat, featuring a king bed, private bath with double vanity, and a soaking tub perfectly positioned to enjoy ocean views. From here, step out onto the deck and slip into the private hot tub, where sunset soaks quickly become a favorite ritual.



On the lower level, practical touches make coastal living easy: a generous mudroom for sandy shoes and jackets, a utility room with washer and dryer, and a garage that doubles as a fun zone with a pool table and games - perfect for cozy nights in or rainy coastal afternoons.

Positives:Beautiful ocean view from the third floor.Spacious third-floor living area, perfect for family gatherings.Dog-friendly, which was greatly appreciated.Areas for Improvement:There are a lot of stairs, which may be challenging for some guests.The gravel driveway poses a hazard , the neighbor’s retaining wall extends too far, making access tight and potentially damaging to vehicles.The driveway is in poor condition and needs re-graveling. Large gaps between the gravel and the paved section can cause vehicles to bottom out. This issue has been mentioned in previous reviews but remains unresolved.Both second-floor patios were covered in leaves upon arrival, and no broom was provided for guests to clean them.The BBQ grill was very dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned prior to our stay.The 4:00 PM check-in time is quite late, and a 10:00 AM check-out feels too early, especially given the high rental cost and cleaning fee.Guests are expected to strip and wash bedding, which seems excessive considering the cleaning fee.There were not enough towels provided for our group.One bedroom was advertised as having a queen bed and two twin beds, but we were unable to locate the twin beds. A bunk bed would be a great addition for families with small children.The foosball table is broken and uneven, making it unusable.The gas fireplace was not operational.There was no guest welcome book with helpful information or instructions.The pillows were too firm.

When we arrived there was a load of towels left in the dryer, full dishwasher of dirty dishes, and it smelt very badly like dog and there was dog hair in a lot of places. But the home was sufficient for our needs and very well stocked. We all had a great time!

Property was okay, only a few issues that we encountered. 1. No more propane for grill. I had to buy it. They said they would reimburse me. 2. Oven was not working. Would get warm but not hot 3. There was only 1 kitchen towel. 4. The towels smelled like wet clothes. 5. 4 people had to sleep in living room. 6. Full bath on middle floor was really hard to close and plan due to the LVP transition hitting bottom of door. 7. Outdoor lights were extremely dim. The area was great. 5 minute walk from beach, great views of ocean.

View was OUTSTANDING! Walk to beach was super close! Everything was very clean. Kitchen supplies were just adequate. No smoke detectors were hooked up in rooms.We were told after checking out that it was because the rooms had recently been remodeled. Communication during our stay was difficult as there wasn’t a local representative. Our messages/questions through Vacasa and Expedia were not answered until after our visit.

Family fun

Wonderful to celebrate the holidays with family any perfect spot to watch the huge ocean waves. Everything well appointed except the kitchen had no dish cloths or towels, and the hot tub never did come up to proper temperature..

House was amazing. Other then you couldn't get the 2nd floor heated. The driveway does need some gravel. My wifes suv bottom out. But other then that it was amazing

Wonderful family beach get away

We were blown away by the view from the living area. Every evening we watched whales!! A short walk to the beach ensured lots of fun for the grand kids. The kitchen was well equipped, there were sand toys and kites to enjoy. Would definitely stay again

Lincoln City stay

This house was beautiful. It was a short walk to the beach pretty much across the street. We had 12 people and 2 dogs and had so much room. We only had one problem with the freezer, but the owner responded so fast. We would stay here again.

Great Beach Getaway!

Our family loves the beach! And we enjoy staying at Sunny SeaLah when visiting Roads End in Lincoln City - this is our second time here. The view from the living area is just beautiful, and the easy and quick access to the beach is perfect. This dog friendly home is also great for our large family with a number of bedrooms, large living area, multiple decks, and a hot tub! A great vacation home!

What a wonderful oceanfront view

The 3rd floor was great, large kitchen, living room, 1/2 wrap around patio great shot of the sunset. The second floor has three bedrooms which were lovely, the king suite is great, and the king bath soaking tub was just what I needed with an oceanfront view. The hot tub on the second floor next to the king suite, but it runs all night and is loud. The second and first floor heat was off and we couldn’t locate the thermostat, we were freezing every night and even the contact couldn’t figure it out! We were unable to use the game room because it was tooo cold! There are 4 bedrooms 1 3rd floor w/a queen bed, 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor w/queen beds, 1 king bed in the king suite. The description on the website is wrong there weren’t any twin beds, just 4 beds. The parking was difficult because of the road into the property is hard to turn into and the parking is a slanted driveway we only could park 2 cars to safely exit the road. The walk to the beach was easy and close. We made the best of it because we were at the beach!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend!

The house was great! Plenty of room for all of us. The view was wonderful and beach acess was an easy walk and close, less than a block away. Will be back!

Dining room chair was broken, someone assembled it and “hid” the damage Broken glassware in the dishwasher Kitchen floor flooded from ice machine Sleeper sofas in the living room is not an accurate description for “bedroom with 2 sofas” We never did get the fireplace to work- it sputtered. We were concerned about gas leakage.

Nice large house with lots of stairs. Only a block away from the ocean beach access. Great views. Parking situation is a little dicey if you have big rigs. Nice place for family gathering, including fur babies.

Family vacation 2023

We were very happy with the location…it was closer to the beach than the pictures showed…the view from the living room window was outstanding…the master bedroom and bathroom were spacious and the bed very comfortable. Loved the kitchen table for sitting around talking, eating and putting puzzles together. We did have a problem with the upstairs TV, but the local “handyman” was patient and fixed the issue. The only thing I would warn is the number of stairs could be an issue for some. We were fine :). If we’re not directly on the beach, I would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

View does not make up for the house.

When we got to the house it smelled so bad. I know it’s pet friendly but it stunk. We had to vacuum the floors as soon as we got in. There was dirt, hair, popcorn, dead bugs, and pet food on the floors. There were dead bugs on the inside window. The kitchen garbage had food. The downstairs bathroom garbage had McDonald’s in it. We tried to contact the local management three times and never got a call back. We even called through Vacasa to get to the property management and never received a call back. The amazing view did not make up for the condition of the house. Unfortunately this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a rental.

Great location, short walk to the beach

This house is located in a cute little neighborhood a short walk from the beach and was a great spot for our family weekend away. We also loved being able to bring the dogs with us. The host called us on our way to the house to let us know that housekeeping was behind on cleaning. Our initial walk through the house felt clean, but after a while we realized its probably due for a good deep clean. It was little things like broken hangers on the floor in the closets and dirty oven mitts. There were also some minor maintenance issues the ice dispenser on the fridge was iced up and wasn't working correctly and the fridge door kept popping open. We contacted the host and they were quick to respond and offered send someone out to fix it it right away. Essentials like soap, shampoo, toilet paper, dish soap, sponges and hand sanitizer were ample. However, I would recommend bringing laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent as those were not provided. Our kids loved having access to the hot tub and the entire family enjoyed sitting on the porch and looking out at the ocean. It was a great weekend in a fun town and would rent it again.

Great weekend for 5 long time friends

For 8 years, 5 old high school friends get together and spend a 3 day weekend at the beach. The last 5 times we have switched it up and have rented a different house. This one was the best. Clean, comfortable, stunning view of the ocean, great kitchen for cooking and entertaining from, with a wonderful open concept. Beds were oh so comfy you didn’t want to get out in the morning. Easy walk to the beach , and wonderful view to watch the waves and sunset. We will be back
