This property is wonderful. We have stayed there on multiple trips, this trip did not disappoint. The views are spectacular, and one of the main reasons we come back to this property. Convenient, very close to main beach access as well as the shops we like on Highway 101. The home is very comfortable with lots of space to relax on both levels, and having two kitchens is always a plus. Also, did I mention the views. Great trip, and we will definitely be back to this property.

The day of our reservation we were informed that one of the two bathrooms was not working. That left one bathroom for 9 people!! Making matters worse was the fact that it was a two story home with a bathroom on each level. So those staying downstairs had to come upstairs to use the bathroom. If this was a group of young adults the stair issue would have been less of a hassle. We had family aged 1yr to 80yr!! It definitely caused problems. The rest of the house was somewhat tired to say the least. The views are incredible!! But for a 1000 a night they better be!! Paying for a 4 bedroom TWO Bath and only getting one bath should have some compensation!! They offered 141......on an over 2000 bill!! Needless to say we will find other great view properties. I suggest you do the same!

I'm very sorry the downstairs toilet became unavailable on short notice and that having only one functioning toilet, combined with the two-level layout, caused significant hardship for members of your group. We called plumbers to service the toilet but were unable to find one who could come out until after your stay. It has now been fixed, but again, I'm sorry we weren't able to make that happen during your stay. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

The house was very well stocked in all rooms and very clean. However, never have I been anywhere where the oppupancy was restricted to only the amount of beds this was 12 and we werent allowed visitors even though they were not staying. Very disappointing since we had family in the area.

Thank you for the 5-star review! We’re glad you found the house was well stocked and very clean for your stay. The occupancy rules are strictly enforced by the local government body that writes them. We have to be careful with these rules to ensure the home's rental license remains safe. We appreciate the feedback and hope to host you again.

Grandma's house. Wonderful view with nuance. Access to the beach is 3 houses south. This also provide access for auto's to drive on the beach between signs. The result is activities at times inconsistent with the joy of the view. Drivers doing cookies below the house and the the resultant noise. We even heard gun shots one night. We called the LC police department who listened and we contacted the Mayor who never called back. The unit is like an up and down duplex with kitchen and living room on both levels. Lots of pans and dishes and silverware.

Thank you for the review and for choosing Meredith Lodging. We’re glad you enjoyed the view and easy beach access. I’m sorry about the beach vehicle activity and the loud noises you experienced — thank you for notifying the local authorities. And thank you for the note about the kitchen supplies — we’ll review our inventory promptly. If there’s anything else we could have done to earn five stars, please message us through the Vrbo app; we’d really appreciate the feedback. We hope to welcome you back soon!
