The Space:

This amenity-packed Lincoln City vacation rental resides two blocks from the beach and truly holds the key to a memorable and fun-filled Oregon Coast vacation! The top deck offers unparalleled 360-degree views of the ocean, Cascade Head, the city, and the Coast Range mountains - you won't find anything else quite like it in Lincoln City. Plus, with a private hot tub and a TV in every room, this is the perfect place for a group to relax, play, and explore this bustling coastal town.



This retro-style home was built in 1946 and expanded in 1985, with modern upgrades inside and out. The great room houses plush sofas and a recliner arranged before a TV packed with options for group movie nights. Not only will you have cable, but also Netflix streaming, a DVD/Blu-ray player, VCR with VHS tapes, and a DVD library. The gas fireplace in this room will keep you warm and toasty for chillier coastal evenings.



Once you unpack, play some tunes on the sound dock or CD player and start the evening with a game of pool. When it's time for dinner, a large kitchen boasts granite countertops and upgraded appliances and is ready to create a home-cooked meal for the whole group. You'll have a large dining table to serve it up on with room for everyone and the added perk of a dishwasher to keep clean-up easy.



Out on the main deck off the kitchen, you'll find a gas grill if the craving for barbecue hits, along with patio chairs to dine alfresco if desired. Before dinner, you may want a little happy hour on the upper-level sundeck, where ocean views, Cascade Head, and Coastal Range pair nicely with a glass of wine. You'll find a game room on the lower level with more comfy couches, a foosball table, a wet bar, and a PS3 hooked up to a TV.



Additional amenities include WiFi for those who need to stay connected, a baby gate for those toting little ones, and a boogie board for catching waves. There's no need to overpack either; the home has a full-size washer/ dryer to keep up with laundry. There's a new 240-volt electric vehicle charging station with a direct plug-in for Tesla, so you can head out anytime. Other EVs may need an adapter.



With a home this full of entertainment options, it may be difficult to pry yourself away. But when you head out to explore, there's plenty to take in on the town and the beach. Many eating options exist, from local coffee shops to ocean-view seafood grills and outlet stores. There's a movie theater, glass-blowing classes, and the Chinook Winds Casino for in-town entertainment, along with a host of antique stores, galleries, and surf shops to collect some local goods to bring home. And, of course, there's the beach. Boasting long sandy stretches of sand, it's the perfect place to build sandcastles, fly kites, have picnics, and build bonfires at night. Extraordinary vacation home

This place is amazing! The set up was perfect for a large family. The pool table and foosball were great entertainment when we weren’t doing adventures outside. It was nice having sand toys for the beach. It was really clean and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The location was awesome, literally a few minute walk to the beach. The views from the top balcony are priceless! We did have an issue trying to get into the house but we got a quick response! We will definitely be staying here next time!

Great View, with some concerns

The house looks fairly new, some of the issues was looking at some warping panels on the 360° decks, which on a portion of the deck you can feel the shake from the wind. Another some cracks in ceiling, and some warping in the flooring, especially first floor bedroom. One shower was unavailable (no shower head or knobs - 1st floor)

Unresponsive hosts

The home itself was nearly perfect as far as the location, layout, and amenities were concerned. We arrived just before 4 and they were still cleaning the home, which was fine because check-in wasn't until 4. We were told on arrival that there was an "incident" from the last guests with the hot tub and that it had to be completely drained so it would take a while to heat back up. Not knowing what the "incident" was, we immediately thought the worst and no one used the hot tub during our stay. On the first day we noticed that the kitchen disposal would not turn on. I messaged the hosts immediately but never heard back. It got so bad that the kitchen sink wouldn't drain and then the dishwasher clogged and started leaking on the floor too. Again, we messaged them (3 days later) about this and the fact that they only supplied three trash bags and dishpods for a week long stay. These messages also went unanswered. Eventually I contacted Vacasa directly about these issues and the last day of our stay we had someone come out to look at the issue. They unclogged the drain, but did not fix the disposal switch. Instead we were told to plug it in under the sink and then walk over to the laundry room to flip a breaker to get it to work. Not a safe option at all and could be a liability telling tenants to do this. Also, the trash was never taken out from the previous tenants so the two containers outside were overflowing all week and our only option was to continue to stack it on top and around the bins. I would not recommend anyone stay here based on the complete lack of communication. This place has a ton of potential if the owners would respond to and take care of their customer's needs, but unfortunately that's not the case here.

All Decked Out

Lots of potential to be a great stay…but the house simply isn’t ready for “prime time”. The code didn’t work - when the maintenance tech came out the next afternoon the modem was unplugged and apparently the batteries were dead. The place was not clean. The outside trash can was completely full. Patched hole in the living room - hadn’t been painted. The local Vacasa rep doesn’t answer the phone when you call the number listed. I could go on, but I think you get the picture (or I can send you some pictures if you doubt what I am saying.)

Close to beach

Lots of room and great views from upper deck. About a block and a half from the beach. Hot tub water didn’t look clean, kind of greenish yellow color. I called twice but no one ever came to deal with it. The boys loved the downstairs space. They called it their man cave. Slept in one room and had another room for gaming and tv.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly...

The good...this house has a great location with easy walkability to the beach and some amazing tide pools. Upon arrival, we found some nice touches such as guest shampoo in each bathroom and hand sanitizer in each bathroom and common area, and a bucket of sand toys for the kids to use at the beach. The foosball table and billiards table were also nice to have during the stay. The Bad...we were notified about 2 hours before arrival that the party before us had broken the oven door and we would not have an oven to use during our stay; the management company did end up finding a small counter top oven but it was a poor replacement for our needs. We had intended to grill several nights, (and with the oven being out of use this was our only real option for 9 people) and found the grill was in a beyond filthy state and had not been cleaned. Also upon arrival, linens were still in the dryer (towels needed for the bathrooms, pillow cases, etc). Nothing like showing up for vacation and doing some laundry! The Ugly... The white bath towels are no longer white, many are stained or ragged. Several of the kitchen towels are filled with holes. Many of the kitchen dishes have large chips in them and all of the pans are past their lifespans (significant scratching to the nonstick surfaces, etc). The wooden handrail leading to the top deck (crows nest) is rotten in two places and completely detached. There are, what appear to be battery powered lights that lead up the stairs to the crows nest; however, only one of them works (there are many). The right side of the home has also suffered a fire (looks like a grill fire?) and the siding and deck is badly charred in a large area. While none of these “bad” or “ugly” things alone would have been a big deal, together they made our stay feel very less-than. To put it into one word, the overall feel of the home is TIRED. We had a great time exploring the beach and surrounding areas but would not recommend this home until it has a significant amount of attention paid to it.

Very nice house & great location!!

This house was very nice!! The pool table & fooseball table were a big hit also... especially since it rained a couple of the days during our stay!!! Kitchen was well stocked with lots of pots, pans, plates, bowls, cooking utensils and silverware!! Only downsides I'd say were little... like a tile was loose at the entrance doorway, PS2 & PS3 were a little confusing to get going because of so many wires attached to the tv (so the kids didn't even bother playing) and the driveway was a bit steep... but these were all things that didn't make much difference at all for us! We LOVED the view from the upper deck and the hot tub was fantastic!! It was also only a block away from drive-in or walk access to the beach and it was located at a part of the beach that has lots of tide pools!!! This was the kids' favorite part!!! All-in-all it was PERFECT for us!!! We'll definitely be staying again!!

Nice, but....

Nice house, clean, well furnished, very comfortable. Turned out to be much more house than we needed, but we enjoyed our time. But.... There is a massive ant problem upstairs. Hopefully they can get that under control. Other than that, nice place!

Excellent family stay

This house ended up being great for our entire family! There was enough space and activities to be able to spread out when we needed to, but the dining and kitchen was big enough that we could all gather to eat and play games together. The location was amazing. A very short walk down to a great beach with a lot of tide pools for the kids. It also has vehicle access if you’d like to pack some stuff for an evening fire on the beach like we did. Overall a great house in a great location for a great experience!

Nice house in ugly neighborhood

House it self is very nice but we were not able to enjoy our stay due to construction next door, which would start at 8am till dawn. Heavy machinery use by the construction was shaking the entire house felt like earthquake every five minutes.

Fantastic Girls Getaway

The home was a perfect setup for our girls getaway. The photos do not do this home justice. It’s beautiful and the floor on the bottom room is absolutely amazing. The kitchen was well stocked for our various cooking needs. The home owner was very responsive to any questions we had about our booking. I highly recommend this home.

Great space for our family

My immediate family stayed here for our extended family reunion - 6 adults and 3 kids age 10 and under. We had plenty of space for all of us and the pool table was fun to have. The hot tub seemed a little cool for us but the views from the deck were lovely. Overall very satisfied with our stay.

Beautiful location and house layout , less than desirable upkeep.

The layout of the house was perfect, as was the view and location. House maintence, appliance functionality, and the availability of toiletry items (no hand soap), was less than desirable though.

Perfect home for celebrating hubby's 40th

My husband and I stayed with our two kids in this lovely home for a long weekend to celebrate his 40th birthday. We got a bigger house thinking another family would be with us, but that didn't work out so we had a TON of space. We loved the pool table, but our favorite was the upper balcony where we enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets. This home has it all, and is by far one of our favorite we've stayed in.

Great house, fantastic view!

My wife and I brought 3 teenagers for a weekend, we wanted a place with a view and a short walk to the sand and plenty of space so we didn't feel like we were on top of each other all weekend. This house fit the bill perfectly, though we felt we should have brought 4 more people with us since we had so much room. The upper deck is great, although it was too cloudy for us to see an amazing sunset. Will flag this property as a favorite, we will be back.
