We just had it cleaned top to bottom. Our previous cleaner, we found out, was spot cleaning and doing a poor job. So we have fixed the issue.

Sorry that we did not meet your expectations. Not entirely sure where you came up with a cost of $400. Your Saturday stay cost $129 plus fees and taxes. Yes, the cleaning fee for such a large unit is $100, which is the same whether you stay one night, like you did, or 100. As for the house, we intentionally kept it looking like it did back in the 60's and 70's, including things like the original kitchen wallpaper. Interesting idea to put some "stories" on the wall, we'll think about that. We will do what we can to address any other issues.

Thanks for your honest feedback. While you are correct that the central AC doesn't work, there are three window AC units, and one portable AC unit in the Master that all keep the entire home very cool, and we hope that you used them. (Heaters for winter as well). And, as noted, there are fans all over the house as well. As for towels, there are always enough for each guest (and should be more), but this is a vacation rental, not a hotel, so we do not provide fresh towels for every day of your stay. There were plenty of trash bags on hand in the kitchen, but we will be sure to let the cleaning staff know they should always replace them prior to guest arrival. We did not know about the pool stick tips, and will fix them ASAP, thanks for letting us know. It is our intent to restore the home to what it was like in the 70's with a few minor nods to the digital age (like wifi), so we agree with you that guests who want to come get a genuine 70's experience and soak in the energy of these great musicians will have a great time. Guests who want a perfect modern home should book elsewhere! Sweet home!
