What we enjoy most is the unmatched access to nature. We are surrounded by incredible trails like the Limber Grove Trail (famous for its ancient, twisted trees) and the challenging Decalibron Loop, where you can summit four 14ers in a single day. For those who prefer the water, Fairplay is officially the Trout Fishing Capital of Colorado. The nearby "Dream Stream" and the Middle Fork of the South Park River offer world-class fly fishing that enthusiasts travel from across the country to experience.
Of course, no stay here is complete without acknowledging our claim to fame: Fairplay is the real-life inspiration for the town in the popular TV show "South Park."
