Welcome to Rock Star on West - a 2 bed/2.5 bath apartment in the historic Ice House building located right off Dickson Street. Our apartment has 2 dedicated parking spots in a prime location!



Inside, there is fully stocked kitchen with bar seating for 2. The living space features high ceilings, a couch, and a large Smart TV. Upstairs in the loft you'll find our desk space!



When it is time to turn in for the night, choose from our two beds:

(1) The primary bedroom is on the bottom floor and features a King size bed, Smart TV, closet, and en suite bathroom.

(2) The second bedroom is upstairs and features a King size bed, and en suite bathroom.



Guest Access:

Guest Access & Amenities:

Guests will have access to the entire pictured house, all appliances, any kitchen supplies, and all amenities. We provide amenities in the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room with enough to get you started on your trip. We do not provide excess for more than a couple of days' worth, and guests are responsible for purchasing these items for personal use if they run out during their stay. Exterior cameras may be at the property for security purposes.

★ The property is conveniently located near local bars and establishments, which adds to the lively atmosphere of the area. Guests should note that this may contribute to higher noise levels, especially on weekends.



House Rules that are strictly enforced:

- Check-in is any time after 3:00 PM.

- Parties or guest actions that result in disturbances, property damage, extensive extra cleaning, or smoking indoors will incur a fine of $1,000.

- This property only allows dogs, with a maximum of 3, and requires a fee of $90 per dog to be paid prior to your stay. Dogs discovered at the property without prior notice or cats discovered at the property will incur a fine of $400.

- Unauthorized checkout delays will incur a fine of $100 per hour.

- This is a non-smoking home. If you smoke in the home, you will be fined $1,000 plus the cost of any smoke remediation necessary.

- Refunds for unused services such as pet fees, event fees, early check‑in, and late check‑out fees, are subject to the same cancellation policy that applies.

- There is a QR code located on or near the refrigerator. It provides helpful information about your stay, including house rules, Wi‑Fi details, amenity instructions, important phone numbers, and answers to common questions.

I’ll start with what we enjoyed about the property: great location, comfortable beds, cozy living room and everything you need in the kitchen!The pictures accurately depict the property, but you enter at the top of the stairs. The winding staircase is VERY narrow and steep so think about that with littles or older people traveling with you. The bedroom upstairs has a leather futon which was super comfortable to sleep on according to our 17 year old. We had issues checking in. It may have been a email delay on our part but two codes are needed and only one was texted. It’s also really important to know that the property is connected to a night club. It’s open until 2AM and the music is loud. Thankfully, the bedrooms are well insulated, don’t have windows and the noise dies down between one and two. If you want to be in the nightlife, this is your place!

Property was not very clean, dusty, rugs smelled of pet urine, glasses dirty. Property manager was extremely communicative and kind and removed the rugs. They also offered to have the place cleaned once we checked in and did offer late checkout as well as a courtesy due to some issues. Also, While I knew there was a spiral staircase, was not aware this was the only way downstairs, would have appreciated that mentioned in the listing. Due to security reasons they will not share the gate/door code to enter on the ground. Be aware of this if traveling with large suitcases, groceries, or individuals that have trouble with stairs.

The apartment was cute, but we had some issues. First, the bedroom door downstairs had a hole in the bottom of it. I let management know, but they should've had that fixed. Also, we opened the closet in the downstairs basement and the door handle broke off. The shower in the downstairs wasn't clean (line of conditioner left from another guest stuck on the wall of the shower), and one of the sinks in the downstairs bathroom was clogged. In the kitchen, there is a coffee pot and a Keurig for use, but we had to use the coffee pot as the Keurig was dirty/moldy on the inside.Also, there is a patio and gated entrance from the back to the downstairs, but they won't give you the code for that. So while you can exit from the bottom, you have to enter from the upstairs entrance.The pictures show the floor plan which includes a closet in the upstairs bedroom, but that is locked, so there was only one closet accessible to us. Not great for 3 adults.And the apartment is next to a bar/nightclub. So expect loud noise/music and loud drunk college kids until 1-2am most nights. (We were there 7 nights from Monday evening to early the following Monday morning, and 4 of the 7 nights we were kept up from the noise).
