Getaway at our one-story home on the water! Beaches are 5 min drive! Sip your coffee watching the sunrise from the deck. Primary bedroom & living room overlook the water. Unique coastal art displayed throughout. Create memories fishing, kayaking, boating & bird/wildlife viewing. Boat dock/deck.

You'll feel at home by the sea. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans, large and small appliances, Keurig and Mr. Coffee. The bed linens, bath/beach towels are provided. The full-size washer and dryer are available in your unit.

WIFI whole home coverage and TV service is provided. TV’s are located in the living room and primary bedroom. Living room and primary bedroom feature room darkening curtains.

The primary bedroom features a king bed and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and large soaking tub. Two guest bedrooms feature queen beds. The back deck features a outdoor dining table/chairs and gas grill. Garage is available for use during your stay.

Be entertained by bird watching, kayaking (2 provided), boating or fishing. Each unit has a private boat dock and fish cleaning station. Boat launch is located directly across the canal off Jackfish Ave. The back deck is fenced off from the steps down to the boat dock. Our canal provides quick access to the Laguna Madre and Intracoastal Waterway for fishing. This is great fishing for redfish, trout, flounder, or drum.

Need more space? Going on a beach vacation with friends or family, where you want to stay together, but also desire privacy? No problem, because Cabana East has 2 villas! Inquire about availability for both units. Each property sleeps 6, so reserve both and sleep 12 comfortably!

Conveniently located over the JFK Causeway bridge on The Island. Situated on a large canal behind the CVS Pharmacy, various restaurants, golfing, surf shops and more located close by.

Michael J. Ellis Beach & Seawall: Approximately 1.7 miles away (about a 4-minute drive). This beach is part of the Padre Island Seawall and offers a sand-free path for biking, jogging, or walking, as well as free parking and clean facilities.

Whitecap Beach: Approximately 5.3 miles away (about an 8-minute drive to the access road, then further to specific spots). Whitecap Beach is located at the end of Whitecap Road on North Padre Island and features a pedestrian-only shoreline as well as an area for cars.

North Packery Beach (J.P. Luby Beach): Approximately 5.3 miles away (about an 8-10 minute drive). This is a popular spot for water sports like surfing and kiteboarding.

Mustang Island State Park: Approximately 10 miles away (about a 15-20 minute drive). This park offers over five miles of coastline, campsites, and a paddling trail.

North Beach: Approximately 9-10 miles away (about a 20-25 minute drive). Also known as Corpus Christi Beach, this is another bayfront beach close to downtown attractions like the USS Lexington Museum and the Texas State Aquarium.

Padre Island National Seashore (PINS): The entrance is approximately 15 miles away (about a 25-30 minute drive). PINS is a much larger area with various beach access points, including Malaquite Beach (approx. 17 miles, 30-minute drive). This offers a more natural and undeveloped beach experience.

Garza Family Annual Fishing Trip

It was a wet weekend but as usual the stay was first class, our fishing guide pick us up right at the house pier. My kids and the grandkids had a blast just fishing off the dock , they even went in for a quick dip. Have used the same place for the last 5 years , will continue to use this property in the future.

Wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had everything we needed and more. The house is quite lovely and very well appointed. The kayaks were a bonus, adding hours of activity. We are already looking forward to next summer. Thanks for a fabulous time!

Great House on the water!

The house is very nicely appointed. Clean and newer. The owner is also very thoughtful...there are kayaks, life jackets, fishing items etc. to use. My son loves to fish and spent every moment he could on the dock catching fish. The outside patio is elevated above the dock and made for a great place to sit and enjoy both the early mornings and late evenings. The house is located close to the water park and local places to eat.

A beautiful home, conveniently located on a canal

We enjoyed a five week stay in this beautiful home. There are two homes (villas) connected at this property. There was zero noise from the other side. Everything you would need for an extended stay was provided including beach chairs and towels. We particularly enjoyed having our meals outside on the deck so we could watch and photograph all the birds coming and going. My husband fished from the pier every single day, and caught something nearly every time.

Perfect costal get away

This place was perfect for 6 people to have a fun and great time.. Prime location for visiting the beach wether it be corpus or port aransas.. This place comes equiped with a grill and it works great. (Swl)

Great vacation!!!!

We stayed 3 nights in Villa B. This side of the condo provides a little more privacy. The condo comes with everything you'll need while on vacation. The condo is modern and cozy. The canal is perfect for fishing off the dock. The location is perfect for Schlitterbahn, Whitecap Beach, Malaquite Nat'l. Seashore, Port A., CVS, restaurants, gas stations, shopping. This was our 2nd time here and will be reserving our 3rd stay soon. Thanks Lauren!!!

Lauren beach house is the best!!!!

Great place for kids!!

We had a great week here and the kids loved it. It's centrally located and close to just about everything. I was worried being so close to the water with two young girls but the back deck is fenced so the little ones can't get out. There was also a padlock to keep the gate locked up as well as an alarm system that beeps anytime a door opens. This made us feel very safe with the kids. The place was very clean and has everything you need for a vacation including a blender for your frozen drinks. The only thing we didn't like were the beds. The mattress was a little worn out in the master suite but still very clean. There was plenty of room at the boat dock for our 25ft catamaran. Room in the driveway for the boat trailer plus two other cars. We will be coming back to stay here next year for sure. Nice to get away from the crazy PortA crowd we were used to in past years.

Convenient, Comfortable, and an overall good value.

A great property in a great location that is convenient to everything on the island. Owner went above and beyond to work with our schedule. This property is perfect for fisherman with plenty of room for boat, trailer and two trucks. Beds are comfortable, and the unit is well appointed with everything you need. Bottom line is I always judge a rental by the value received for the dollars paid. This property was worth it!

Like a brand new house with all of the amenities!

We are never disappointed when we stay here. It is always extremely clean and has everything you could want and more! The bedding is super soft giving me a better nights sleep than I do at my own house! The beach is only 2 miles away making this the absolute optimum location to stay. There is no place nicer on Padre Island and the price cannot be beat. The owner is extremely responsive to any question and goes above and beyond to accommodate. We stay here several times a year and wouldn't dream of trying any other property!

Very nice, comfortable home on the water

This home is perfect for a getaway to the beach or to bring your boat for some bay fishing. It's down the street from Schlitterbahn Padre Island. We stayed here though primarily to be near the Bay area Medical Center where our daughter was having a baby, and to be able to do a little fishing. It was perfect for both. The furnishings were lovely, updated and comfortable. The only thing I would change is upgrading the coffee maker to a keurig as our family is picky when it comes to our coffee. But really, we had a wonderful stay, owners very accomodating. We would definitely love to come back again.

Great VRBO experience, easy to get to, well decorated, comfortable, had all we needed, very clean

My wife and I stayed over the Labor Day weekend. Were looking for a comfortable get away long weekend, to fish and just relax. The house is very easy to find, conveniently located to attractions and restaurants and we were very pleasantly surprised how nice the place is; the pictures truly match the real thing. The owners obviously made considerable investments in decorating this spacious duplex. It is easily the nicest, cleanest, most comfortable we have stayed in. Well appointed, like new appliances, well stocked in all you need. We unpacked our cloths and food and we were ready to go. We fished from the nice doc (and did pretty well on specs). When it got hot in the afternoon, we had no issue going inside as the place was an inviting place to be. We very sincerely had a great stay, enjoyed the house and would do it all over again.

Very clean and beautiful place to stay

Really enjoyed the condo, it is very spacious and beautiful, sitting out on the patio with a cup of coffee just watching the boats in the canal was a great way to start the day. So many different things to do in such close proximity was very convenient 10 min from Bob Hall pier and the beach just to name a few. I'm Lauren - I handle the reservations. My parents are locals and live on Corpus Christi mainland, so they help when needed. My father is an avid bay fisherman and outdoorsman, so naturally a home on the water with great fishing access is a must. My mother enjoys unique homes and well decorated spaces, so there is something for everyone. It's a family operation.

Our particular canal location on The Island provides optimal access to the Intracoastal Waterway for boating and fishing. Also, located close by Mustang Island and PINS - the beach access is great! It's easy to get back to mainland Corpus Christi if needed, while being able to take advantage of waterfront living!

It's a spacious one story home with a garage. Most properties on The Island are vertical. Our home has 1,700 sq ft on one level on a canal. Also, we have an identical property next door, so extended family or friends can stay together....side-by-side! There's private boat docks, ample indoor and outdoor space, water views from the living, kitchen, and master bedroom, great fishing access, unique collected coastal artwork, I could go on and on....
