You can send me a message for a special rate of this 3500 square foot house, 3 bedroom / 4 bath Luxury Vacation Home Getaway is located inside a Prestigious Gated Golf Community. Perfect for family get together. Professional kitchen fully-equipped. Chef's kitchen is perfect for the gourmet cook at heart. Billiard Table, games table, swimming pool (optional $250 fee for heating per week or $800 fee per month, no pool heating from November to February, hot tub (free heating), 180º Organ Mountain View’s. 3 Queen size beds and 1TEMPUR-PEDIC twin bed. The master bed room is also has a TEMPUR-PEDIC mattress with remote control. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and walk-in closet, with shelves and hangers. There are 2 shower heads and Jacuzzi bath tub for Master bedroom.
Perfect views of the Organ mountain, and many array of colors on the mountains as the sun rises while sitting under the covered patio or relaxing in the in ground Pool or Hot Tub Spa. Expansive starry skies are absolutely breath-taking.

Not as described and depicted

Nice location and big home but it is very dated. Carpet is worn, stained and old yet a strict no shoes policy. Pool was milky blue and completely cloudy and smelled strongly of chemicals. Lots of bugs floating and ants around the edges and patio. 2nd day it cleared slightly but looked like sand and bugs on the bottom. If you swam, it got cloudy and one guest got a rash so we did not get in again.pool was one of the reasons we rented. Spiders inside the house, in the shower and on the kitchen ceiling. Air condition worked sporadically, we contacted the owner twice about issues who didn’t respond until after 11pm. Air repair was on the 4th day and we were told it was temporary fix and it if froze up to turn it off for a couple hours. (It was over 100 outside that week) pool issues- owner said pool guy said it was “ safe to swim” but residue and bugs were all over the bottom of the pool. This home has the owners personal belongings and food in it. - bathrooms included. It does not feel like a clean rental, with old towels and the bug, air and pool issues. Photo depicts the white residue in pool. Ended up with a suspected spider bite under my eye when I woke up the last day. We left a day early because of the issues with no offer of a refund.

Beautiful Home!

Such a beautiful home - all of the personal decor and effects made it feel like a well cared for home and made the stay so much more comfortable! I hope to book this one again when I travel to Las Cruces! And such an amazing view of the Organ Mountains!!

Wonderful relaxing time

We had a wonderful time. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Property is perfect for adults it’s very quiet. The kitchen was a beautiful cooking kitchen perfect for family, adult gatherings who love to cook.

Beautiful Home and View

My very elderly parents wanted to winter away from the snow but needed someone to be there with them. I work remotely so it was perfect for me to join them. The view is amazing, the mountains change moment by moment, it was incredibly peaceful, The kitchen is a cooks dream, very well appointed and had a stunning view while you cooked and if you ate in the kitchen. The house is huge and the rooms are huge, the walk-in showers were wonderful and spacious. True there was not a lot of drawer space in the bedrooms but the closets more than made up for it. The master closet is massive and lots of space. We were there for two months and never felt cramped or pushed for space. This is truly a house for foodie's who love to cook, for people who enjoy the sun and those who want to be with family but not on top of each other. The weather Feb and March is a bit cold and windy for the pool and hot tub but the days I did use it were great. Kimberly is very sweet and a marvelous host. All my communications with her face to face or other were very pleasant. A beautiful home and wonderful lady.

Too many personal belongings

The place was clean, kitchen well stocked. The owner had so many personal belongings we could nto even put clothes in the drawers because her clothes were in them as well as in the closet. Her shoes were out as paperwork etc. Pool was not as expected. You cannot heat the pool at the same time as the hot tub. And you have to manually turn each one on/off. When i asked how to turn on the heat to the pool she did not know and said she always has someone else do it for her. The heater of the pool started spewing water out and we had to shut off the breakers so all the water would not empty from the pool. There are 2 thermostats in the house and the one for the main bedroom and kitchen area did not work properly. The temp in that area would go up to 78 degrees. Having rented from VRBO many times, this place was the most disappointing. We ended up leaving a daily early and staiyng in a hotel because it was so warm in the house.

Leaves a little to be desired

The house is beautiful but it was full of many personal belongings. In the main bedroom, there were the owner’s clothes in the closet and in drawers. We could not use any of the drawers to put our own clothes. Several pairs of her shoes were lined up at the back door. The garage was also full of many personal belongings. It would have been nice if we had been able to utilize the closet and drawers in the main bedroom. She also had many personal papers,etc in closets and desk. Although Kim was very receptive to our questions, I was very disappointed about the pool and hot tub. We paid to have the pool heated and for the first three days, we could not use either the pool or the hot tub as they were not warm enough. She provided me the number to contact the pool person but he did not respond. Kim sent instructions on how to turn on the pool heat and the hot tub (you cannot heat both at the same time). It was very frustrating and on Sunday evening, her son sent us instructions. We followed the instructions and about 10 minutes later, something blew off the heater and water was spewing out by the gallons. I attempted to call Kim and the pool person and did not get a response back for quite some time. My husband and brother in law found the breaker in the garage and turned off the pool/hot tub. The pool was finally fixed late Monday afternoon. I did request a refund for the pool heat as we didn’t get a chance to enjoy. Having stayed in many VRBOs, this was most disappointing

Picacho Hills VRBO

Very unique property. Beautiful views of Organ mountains which is what we look for. Nice pool but too cold to use this time of year. Close to all the attractions we want to visit.

This Home - Highly Recommend

We have stayed in VRBO homes many times and this is our favorite. Large, clean, well-landscaped, high-desert home in a neighborhood that is so beautiful you won't want to leave. From the living room with vaulted ceilings and wall-to-wall windows, the Organ Mountain sunrises are breathtaking. I am not particularly a morning person, but I got up every morning for a month just to see the sunrise. While swimming in the heated pool, we were able to watch Gamble's Quail and White-winged Doves at the feeders. One of our other favorite aspects about this VRBO stay was dining in Mesilla. I am not exaggerating when I say that this tiny historic town adjacent to Las Cruces has world class dining. Host Kimberly is friendly, responsive and eager to ensure that her guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay in her home.

Beautiful View

This home is in a beautiful community and felt very safe. The neighbors are not on top of each other. The home is huge with a green house and the kitchen served all my purposes. I wish the owner would remove more personal items such as personal paperwork and family pictures. Thank you for being great hosts!

Thanksgiving Getaway

We had a wonderful time. The beautiful property is well appointed and the host was very attentive. The outdoor space and view are gorgeous. This was an ideal property for two couples and a grown child- lots of space to spread out. The kitchen is an extraordinary chef’s kitchen. Views are gorgeous and relaxing at all times of day. The gated neighborhood offers peace of mind in a lovely community. I highly recommend this property and host!!

Everything we'd hoped for during our splendid month-long stay!

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful home! We relocated to Las Cruces for a month long "working vacation" to be near our adult daughter and some extended family members during the pandemic. We enjoyed SO many things about this luxurious and large house! The large gourmet kitchen, the large master bedroom, the huge master bath with a jacuzzi tub, beautiful furnishings, the lovely large pool and spa in the large attractively landscaped yard, the incredible view of the Organ Mountains and Picacho Peak, so many lovely sunsets and . . . those breathtaking evening stars! It felt like we were living in a private resort villa, with all the conveniences of a well appointed, and spotlessly clean, home. We loved the soaring ceilings and huge windows in the light filled east-facing rooms. Sitting out on the patio enjoying the warm weather, the view, the sounds of the "waterfall style" spa/pool and the local birds was just heavenly. The front room was great for movie nights, and we all had a ton of fun playing billiards more frequently than we would have expected. The setup of the house, with large guest bedrooms each with their own spacious bathroom, would be great for a larger group. We took advantage of the desks in the bedrooms and the solid wifi throughout the house to set up our remote computer workstations and really appreciated feeling like we were not "living in our home office". When family members came to visit and lounge around in the pool and sun, we all appreciated the ample supply of pool towels, and that one of the bathrooms with a shower opened directly to the pool/patio area. Kimberly was an exceptional host, so responsive to our questions and requests, and thoughtfully scheduling pool service after a stretch of windy days during our stay. She arranged golf reservations at the Picacho Hills community course and my husband chalks up his improved game to the higher altitude! Las Cruces had everything we needed, with lots of fun take-out dining options, an interesting Saturday farmer's market, bike paths and hiking trails nearby. The Picacho Hills neighborhood is beautiful, exceptionally safe, very quiet and serene, with striking and fascinating New Mexican landscaping throughout. This was a top-notch VRBO experience, and we hope to return again!

Large space and beautiful view

Property manager was quick to respond with any questions we had. The location and property are beautiful and feels very private. Lovely cook's kitchen, pool and spa. Plenty of space for our family for the week. Would rent from her again.
