Our proximity to the canal means you will encounter local wildlife. It is common to see iguanas, small lizards, and other local fauna around the property and dock area. We maintain a professional pest control schedule, but please be aware that these animals are a natural part of the South Florida ecosystem.

When it comes time to eat, you’ll find restaurants abound in Plantation for every age group and occasion. Whether it`s for a special event at the Mustard Seed Bistro, Japanese at Kiko Japanese Restaurant or at the popular and delicious Carrabba`s Italian Grill or J Alexander`s, there is an eatery to satisfy every palate and every price range.
For a fun day out, take a tour of the Everglades at Sawgrass Park and ride an airboat through gator habitats and visit the small zoo within.

The best way to get around is by car with free parking included with your stay.

Florida`s Brightline train system makes it possible to travel from Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach and Miami without a car. Each ride takes about 30 minutes and departs daily every one to three hours, depending on the direction and time of day. Services are available every day from about 5:10 to 12:50 a.m. Basic seats cost $10 or $15 each.

You can see the city by boat with a fleet of water taxis that travel along the Intracoastal and downtown`s New River, stopping at 14 points of interest in Fort Lauderdale and the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort. You can hop on and off the boats all day, but the tickets are a bit pricey. Each costs $28 per adult and $14 per child.

If your destination is not near a waterway, Sun Trolley offers routes with stops downtown and along the beach, as well as on Las Olas Boulevard. All routes are free except for the Beach Link and Las Olas Link routes, which cost $1 per ride or $3 for a day pass.

For shorter trips around the city, consider reserving a bicycle through the Broward B-cycle bike-sharing program.

Commercial activities and video recording for commercial purposes are strictly prohibited on the premises.

The payment of a standard $2000 security deposit will be required prior to your arrival. If the booking is for local residents, there will be an additional deposit required. If you book within 7 days, there will be an additional deposit. The additional deposit is $500 for houses with 5 bedrooms or less and $1000 for houses that have more than 5 bedrooms. Security deposits can`t be paid via Credit card.

*Upon confirmation, we will request a signed credit card authorization form along with pictures of the credit card holder`s ID for verification purposes.*

2-night bookings require an additional security deposit.

There is a small fee to have the pool heated.

Please note that failure to comply with any of house rules could lead to the loss of your security deposit.

Security deposits can`t be paid via Credit card.

Mandatory house rules:

1. No guests allowed in the home other than those included in the reservation

2. Vehicle count cannot exceed 7 cars, no vehicles are to be parked on the swale, street, or grass.

3. No excess noise throughout the day and no noise during the quiet hours of 10 pm to 8 am

4. A fee of $250 will be charged for smoking in the house as well as a charge for any damaged furniture.

5. Fireworks are not allowed.

6. Please do not change the settings on the pool equipment, if you need assistance, let us know so we can assist. If you change the settings a $500 fine will be charged.

PET OWNERS: A pet fee of $150 will be charged if you don`t clean up after your pet. This applies in open areas (patio/backyards) and inside of homes. You are responsible for delivering the property in the same condition as received.
