Within blocks of campus, restaurants, bars, shops, Novie theater, grocery store and much more. Less than a block from SEPTA subway lines. Penn school buses are parked downstairs and campus police patrol 24 hours a day.

Great house for a larger group. Location on loon lake- quiet and pristine.house was exceptionally well appointed! Highly recommend it.

This room is way too small. They used the cheapest things possible for bedding. The pillows were old and bumpy. Bathroom smelled like sewer every time we used the sink. Not enough plugs to charge phones. Not in a safe as area was depicted to be.

Overall the stay was great. The unit was clean. Everything worked. Plenty hot water and toiletries. Love the old building vibe. There is a ACME supermarket, Dunkin’ Doughnuts, McDonalds 5 minute walk from the unit. Metro station is 3 minutes and train station is a 30 minute walk or 2 stops away. Great location in a “OK” neighborhood. The only issue was that given the extreme heat the small AC unit struggled to keep the temperature comfortable. I keep 75 at home so I don’t demand 68 degrees. But for the first 24 hours it was well above 75 after that it was comfortable enough. To be fair it was about 100F outside not the norm for Philly and my unit was on the top floor. Hard to beat the price and location on a 4th of July weekend. I messaged the manager about the AC issue but as I suspected there was no option or alternative.

We arrived exhausted at the end of a long day and the room had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. We tried to reach the host repeatedly and got no response. Called customer service who was similarly unable to reach her. We went to dinner unsure whether we even had a place to stay that night. Fortunately, about 2 hours after our initial attempt to reach her, the host contacted me, apologetic and said that there had been a miscommunication and she got the place cleaned. It would have been much less stressful had she gotten back to us sooner. Additionally, there is a big step down when you go through the door and no warning about it, so I stumbled badly and nearly fell. The place was fine once it got cleaned, but our overall experience was pretty stressful.
