Beautiful Lake Glenville, highest elevation lake east of the Mississippi River is about 10 minutes away; Highlands, Cashiers, Franklin, Sylva, Cullowhee and several other towns are within 30 minutes. A bit further you can visit Cherokee (home to Harrah's Cherokee Casino), Maggie Valley, Waynesville and more. There is also a multitude of great golf courses and restaurants. There is horseback riding within 15 minutes and so much more to explore.
