Walkable to ocean is marginal Place was clean No WiFi code posted anywhere ( maybe in the 10 emails you got) Wouldn’t recommend for more than 2 people

This feels like a garage (small one) turned into a rental unit. Rooms tiny with no room for a dresser even. Building on an overcrowded street with wall to wall views of house next door and all scraped buildings so nothing charming about it. The "beach access" was a most closely a walk in brown overflow lake to beach or a very long hike and carrying beach gear not an option from unit. Parking closer to beach access was still not "close". The congestion of traffic in this area was worse than described; not the owner's fault. The unit was clean and well stocked. No garbage disposal a minor inconvenience. Perhaps someone staying a few nights would find it more amenable and we rented 3 weeks. We left a week paid for and left anyway to rent another place somewhere else entirely for a lot of money (it was that bad it was worth it).The owners watched as I (age 70) pulled their big blocks of wood out of the way so we could fit in pulling out of the one parking spot with our Ford F150 w/bike rack. He literally stood there and offered no help or notice that their multiple blocks of wood and ill-placed pots of dirt (no foliage or dead) were blocking reasonable access to the space.

It is always unfortunate when something doesn't work out as expected. And not knowing an area can certainly lead to unexpected results. Most of the concerns cited are not within the control of the owner. We take great pride in our property. We worked hard to create a comfortable and cozy environment for our guests (thank you for noting cleanliness and stock). The pictures in the listing present the unit exactly as it is. And the description accurately describes the location. We continue to earn 5 star reviews on other sites. This area (30A/SoWal) is busy - especially around a holiday (Memorial Day). It is unfortunate it did not meet your expectations. This is a really special place. -RealJoy
