This is an honest review of this apartment. 5 stars for: Communication- host communicates well and is quick at replying. Cuteness-the apartment is super cute. Accommodations-even though I didn’t use the kitchen it is well stocked. Walkability- so many fun places! 3 stars: It’s not a real 1 bedroom. It’s a large studio with a pony wall. 1 star- Area- this is a above a very loud, fun pub. The pub has great food, drinks and service! Highly recommend for you to go! The noise level will be heard until at least 12 a.m. The street is super busy. Lots of kids around school hours, and people cruising with loud speakers. Additionally, there is a few churches near there that services the homeless. Each time we came back to the apartment we were harassed by homeless people. It was a bit scary at night time. The doorway is darker and it’s difficult to see the numbers on top of having homeless people near you while trying to unlock the door to enter the building. Heater issues- when we arrived the temp read 55 degrees, but felt like 35-40. It was freezing and the heater did not work. I contacted the host and we finally figured out that there is a switch that was not turned on. Once it was on, and played around the thermostat it finally came on. The issues unfortunately continued. The temp read 65 but felt like 85! Overall, if you don’t mind the noise level, it’s a super cute apartment. It’s walking distance to Brown, RISD, track 15, great restaurants, theater and coffee shops.
