Poipu Sands is a low density condo development, featuring wide open green lawns leading down to the ocean. Additionally, there are walkways connecting Poipu Sands to the Grand Hyatt, and Shipwreck Beach. There are also trails, along the ocean, where you can watch turtles play in the surf, and watch whales pass by during the Winter months. Gorgeous sunsets can be experienced along this ocean trail, only minutes from your lanai.

Inside the condo, you will find upscale furnishings, fine linens, and a beautifully remodeled kitchen, bathroom & flooring. There is a king bed in the master suite. The bedroom also has AIR CONDITIONING (Bedroom only).
There is also a full size washer and dryer contained within the unit so you can pack light for your trip. Beach chairs, beach towels, sun umbrella and a cooler for those trips to the beach.

We offer free high speed wireless internet and a desk area, in case you need to work while staying here. We also have Spectrum cable service, with TV's in the living room and the bedroom.

A fully equipped gourmet kitchen makes cooking a breeze. There is a table for indoor dining, as well as one on the lanai, where you can enjoy an ocean view.

The recently completed pool renovation has only made the one of the best resort pools on the island, even more spectacular! It has an ocean view, as well as several gas grills to prepare an outdoor BBQ. There are even tables poolside, if that is your preference. It is now heated during those cooler Winter months.

A short walk over to the Grand Hyatt provides you with the opportunity to enjoy some of the fine dining options located there, as well as entertainment nightly on the lanai, overlooking the grounds and ocean beyond. The location is ideal, being only minutes from some of Poipu's finest beaches. Poipu is also the culinary center of the island, and you will find many options to satisfy almost any taste. There is a gourmet Farmer's Culinary Market at Kukui'ula on Wednesday afternoons, that is an event not to be missed. There is also a Friday night musical series at the same Kukui'ula venue nearby. There you will find upscale shopping, galleries, and dining venues. And best yet, it's only 5 minutes away.

Poipu is also is location of two famous botanical gardens, where you can wander amongst the wide variety of plants that grow in Kauai, in a peaceful environment.

Poipu is also close to many of the islands activities. There are zip lines, ATV tours, authentic luaus, and hiking near by. A helicopter tour can also be the highlight of any stay in Kauai, offering you the opportunity to see many of Kauai's areas of natural beauty, that are inaccessible by car.
