The home features two queen beds, two twin beds, two sets of bunk beds, and a queen sleeper sofa for two extra guests. Unwind and relax with family and friends on the majestic uncrowded beach or take in the amazing sunsets from one of the two covered decks. Covered parking area below home with large concrete driveway to accommodate your boat. Whether you’re unwinding indoors or exploring the many attractions of the island, this is the ultimate getaway for your family and friends.

Before checkout, please start a load of towels. You can leave beds unmade so our cleaners know which linens to wash.
Please turn all lights off including the outside lights on the side of the house and all lights under the house. Checkout is no later than 10:00 am.

We had we had a we had an excellent experience. The host was very accommodating and addressed all of our needs or questions very quickly. The property was clean and well stocked and it is in a quiet, friendly community. There was a short walk to the beach, which was not crowded at all. Great for our family, which included two small children and two grands. We had a lovely time.

Pelican Perch was the perfect sanctuary for our family of eight and our dog Willie. The home was clean and offered stunning views; we loved starting our mornings on the lanai, catching glimpses of both the Gulf and the Bay over coffee. The layout was ideal, with incredibly comfortable beds and plenty of space for everyone. Our 6 kids loved it! The kitchen was a highlight—fully stocked with quality utensils and a great coffee maker, making tropical family meals a breeze. Plus, the beautiful beach is just a five-minute stroll away and it is dog friendly! Shannon, the new owner, made the check-in and check-out process seamless. We’ve officially fallen in love with Dauphin Island and this home. We loved the drive over the bridge, ice cream at Island Rainbow, dinner on the deck at Islanders, Fort Gaines, and the Aquarium of course! We truly hope to return next year!

We had an incredible stay on Dauphin Island with our family, and this house made the trip absolutely perfect. Traveling with my wife and our three boys means we need a place that’s comfortable, easy, and family-friendly—and this home checked every box.The location couldn’t have been better. Being so close to the beach made morning walks, afternoon swims, and sunset views part of our daily routine. Those are the kinds of moments that make a family trip memorable.The hosts clearly care about their guests and the property. Everything was well maintained, communication was smooth, and the whole experience felt welcoming from start to finish.If you’re looking for a place on Dauphin Island that’s perfect for a family getaway, we would absolutely recommend this home. We made some great memories here and would love to come back again.

After finding this listing on VRBO last minute. I messaged the owner after submitting my application to stay. We traveled with 4 adults and 5 children. The house is amazing. The kitchen was absolutely stellar and accommodated our family to cook all of our meals. The rooms are very spacious. With one double twin bed room, one double bunk bed room, one king bed room and one queen bed room. It allowed our family to stretch out and not be on top of each other. The den was a relaxing place to sit and watch some TV. All rooms had TVs as well. The back porch is beautiful to sit and watch the Gulf waves rolling in. The walk to the beach is literally only a block and a half. This site provides all beach chairs and play toys for the kids to have fun with and has boogie boards for the kids to ride the waves. The beaches are GORGEOUS, and there isn’t a 100,000 plus people you would find on Florida Beaches. The local town is amazing as well. Only thing I wish I would have done is pick up a Walmart order for food before we got here. Nearest Walmart is 45 minutes away and the food on at an island store is a little pricey. But that didn’t distract us from this good time at this home. I would absolutely recommend this to ANYONE. The host is gracious and messages back almost immediately when she is contacted. 10 out of 5 for SURE.
