The Space:

This vacation rental is perfect for the family looking for a quiet setting while still being close to resort amenities and the beach. This ground-floor villa boasts a fabulous lakefront view that can be enjoyed from the living area as well as the comfort of the screened-in patio featuring nice patio furniture. The spacious kitchen offers upgraded, full-size appliances, fine cabinetry, and all the housewares needed to prepare your favorite meals as well as an attached wet bar with a wine fridge. The dining table seats six and there are counter stools at the breakfast bar for plenty of dining space. The living room and master bedroom each have flatscreen TVs and Blu-ray players. Guests will also enjoy the on-site shared pool and tennis courts.

Seascape Boardwalk Villas is located directly behind Majestic Sun in the Seascape Resort with direct access to a wonderful boardwalk with a walk-over bridge to the white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Fun for the whole family, a visit to Destin's HarborWalk Village (about ten miles west) is a must-visit for its unique eateries, boutique shops, and the chance to ride aboard the one-of-a-kind Buccaneer Pirate Ship. Take a drive along Scenic Highway 98 that winds along the coast and through other charming beachside communities like Grayton Beach, Seaside (which provided the setting for the 1999 movie The Truman Show), Seacrest, and Rosemary Beach.

Everything was nice and clean only I would like to see next is more trash bags and a tv in the second bed room other then that we love it we will definitely be back thanks.

No working washer / ice maker not working / food and drinks stolen

We did not have a working washer, dryer or ice maker for the entire 6 night stay - management new about the issue before we arrived and were not told - when we told management they basically did nothing about it - on the 6th day a new washer and dryer was installed without me knowing - during the installation the delivery people ate our food and stole a botlte of wine and soft drinks

Lovely Condo, Terrible Property Manager

The condo is roomy, comfortable, and has lovely views of the Lake with sounds of the Gulf in the background. However, we tried numerous time to contact property manager in advance, during stay, and after, all with NO response. Arrived at appointed time to find housekeeping just arrived. Slapdash job resulted in me having to mop and vacuum nasty floors. A/C had governor that would not go below 70. Unit was muggy and humid. Either A/C not optimal or need new filter and re-calibrated thermostat. Otherwise, beds were very comfortable. Kitchen adequately stocked and living room very livable. Great location and wonderful time. Suggest new property manager. When finally got phone number (hard to find) stayed on hold over 1/2 hour each time with no answer. terrible!
