The beach was right across the street. Easy access for us to just walk across to the beach. Everything was convenient and easy to access. The Cozy Coastal had everything we needed.

Perfect location!

Great spot on the island. Easy beach access, rental unit was clean and fully stocked. Great view of sunrise and sunset. Will definitely return if possible!

Perfect location and wonderful island. Right across the street from the beach access and cozy place with a calm beach vibe. Beds were comfortable, beaches were beautiful, pool was nice and everywhere on the island is pet friendly. A+

The comdo itself was very clean and nice and great location. However, would have been helpful to know that the beach access across the street was closed and being rebuilt. We were able to find another but not nearly as convenient to what we originally thought.

Family Beach Vacay

Property is in a great location right across from the beach. Access to the pool onsite and the ocean directly across the street were both perfect! The front porch seating areas with rocking chairs and grills was fabulous to gather at the end of the night before going back out to the beach to walk at night. Condo was clean and very well stocked. Pool was nice and set with lounge chairs and some nice table areas. Easy walking for all ages. 10/10 across the board!

Great condo at the Beach

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay! The condo is very clean and welcoming and had everything we needed, including washer and dryer. The beds were very comfortable and the location was fabulous! You simply walk out the front door and cross the street to the beach access. It’s on the ground floor, no stairs to deal with. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The beach on St. George Island is just gorgeous. We saw dolphins every day. My husband enjoyed fishing from the shore every day. it was just a short drive to go out to the restaurants. This place for a quiet getaway and we will definitely go back!

Love the area

Although we love this area, we feel like a lot of the area is becoming run down. The improvements are shabby workmanship. The booking in and out was very efficient we will use this company but not the same house.

Monkey’s First Beach Trip

Property was awesome and perfect for what I was looking for. Very nice and comfortable unit. Will definitely be looking and inquiring on renting this place again in the future and will always check on this unit before any others for sure. It was just myself and my 7 month old little boy and his first time to the beach and seeing the ocean and playing in the sand. He loved it and was so fun to watch. I really really appreciate the opportunity to visit and stay in your place.

Great location but..

Great location and overall not a bad condo. Only downside is the floors were filthy. My son who is crawling right now had black knees, feet and hands. After unpacking and just walking around getting things situated the bottom of my feet were black. It’s also pretty small.. it was a last minute booking and it worked for us but probably wouldn’t book here again.

Vacasa manages this property. They are difficult to deal with because Their customer representatives are outsourced. The only time I talk to someone who was in Florida was when they came to evacuate us prior to a hurricane. I tried to call upon arrival to get directions to open the digital lock. The lock never worked the whole time I Was there. The condo itself is not bad. It’s small. There’s no private outdoor space or balcony. There were people there with dogs off of their leashes, which made it difficult for my dogs.

I was on the phone twice for inaccurate listing 4 hours straight ...no one us answer.

I was on the phone because inaccurate listing 4 hours... i cannot reach anyone because the time of check-in is at 4 after you process the payment transaction. I kept calling repeatedly but no one pick up the phone....I arrived at 7am I look around the phone number but the costumer service number no one pick up...certainly I saw the phone on the next door neighbor and got a number of the cleaning team. I called them to get someone cleaning up my space because the current guess is checked out. Importantly, I have six months baby therefore I ask for cur

Lacking Cleanliness and Bad Odor inside

My family of 5 stayed here in April 2022 for our annual trip to SGI. We have been traveling to SGI for many decades and our favorite place was sold last year and no longer a vacation rental. We found this place and thought the location, size and value of the rental would fit our needs. We are huge animal lovers and have pets we left at home, but this place that is pet friendly needs to task their cleaning crew with more deep cleaning of the couches and bedding which strongly smelled of wet dogs and old stale cigarette smell. The floor were so sticky when we first walked in I thought someone had spilled honey all over the floor. The floors were so sticky I had to get out a mop and clean the floors so we could actually walk around barefoot. I informed the owner upon arrival and they sent a cleaning person out the next morning that never even came inside our unit and only swept the outside hallway area and gave me and my kids all dirty looks the entire time. Not sure if they were the actual owner or just a cleaning person that was upset were made a complaint. The bedding was covered in dog hair and we had to go buy laundry soap and wash all the sheets, pillow cases and blankets before we could go to bed the first night. The pillow cases and sheets were clearly not washed from the last guests that stayed and there were several hairs in and on each of the 3 beds. Several dishes were put back dirty prior to our arrival we discovered each time we made a meal. Needing to clean most things before being able to enjoy them while on vacation is definitely a bummer to say the least. We have never stayed in a vacation rental or a hotel that smelled as bad as this place did or be as dirty as this place was. We had to open all the windows and kept the door wide open when we first arrived hoping to air it out but it didn’t make much of a difference since it was so bad. The place has several units and it appeared some are rentals and others are more permanent residents. We tried to be friendly and say hi to everyone but it seemed only the travelers responded with smiles and made us feel somewhat welcome there. I can assure you we left the place much cleaner than we found it but the smell we could not resolve even with some air fresheners we purchased. The decor was very cute and beachy and the location was close to the beach just a few mins walk which is wonderful. I hope the owners can find a better cleaning crew and do something about the odor~we won’t be back

Old hotel feel, cleanliness a problem

The only good thing about this is the location to the public beach access and the extra supplies. Our concerns: Towels were left in dryer from previous stay, hair in towels, dusty vents, moldy old smell throughout the house, built up dirt on bathroom floor. The beds were horribly uncomfortable, Queen size bed felt broken on one side. Reminds of an old apartment complex converted into condos. The bedrooms where very hot at night and ac could not keep up. Automatic lock locked the door every time it was shut, with kids they go in and out and it was nearly impossible to make sure they didn't lock us out. The knob to turn the autolock off was disabled. We were also uncomfortable there was no regular unkeyed deadbolt we could lock at night. And there is no way this would sleep 6 with the size.

We had a great, albeit short stay. The condo was clean and had everything we could’ve needed. We will definitely look at renting again in the future.

Never Again

Communication between Vacasa reps was awful. Worked to get a refund, with one rep willing to move dates (which I was fine with), just for another rep to decline to complete the change the next day. Room was filthy. Mattresses felt like laying on rolls of nickels, dishwasher and sink sprayer were both broken, and there were German cockroaches coming out of the stove. The A/C didn’t work well at all. Dishes were also dirty upon arrival. Location was great, but will never use Vacasa or stay at this residence again.
