The Space:

Turtle Beach is a spacious, 2,200-square-foot condo directly on the Gulf of Mexico, waiting to be your home away from home for your next Florida vacation! It features that 'wow factor' that many vacationers look for, along with jaw-dropping views from the open-floor-plan living room with an electric fireplace, dining area, and kitchen, as well as from the master bedroom and the unbeatable 42-foot-long balcony.

The west-facing bedrooms also have partial gulf views. You will enjoy all the unique artwork throughtout this inviting getaway.



A lack of entertainment options shouldn't be a problem here, as this beach abode features a 55-inch flatscreen TV, and 4K Sony Blu-ray/DVD in the living room, a 40-inch Samsung and Blu-ray in the master bedroom, a 32-inch Samsung and Blu-ray in the twin-bedded bedroom, and another 55-inch 4K LG OLED flatscreen TV and Xbox OneX (make sure to bring your games!) in the fourth bedroom. The fully equipped kitchen includes all you need for dining in or just taking quick meals. The dining table comfortably seats six, and the adjoining kitchen island has three counter stools.

You'll be conveniently located two miles east of Seaside and within easy walking distance of Cafe Thirty-A and The Perfect Pig. Goatfeathers Seafood Market, Cafe Thirty-A, and Boggy Boys pizzeria are just down the street, as is the nearest bicycle rental shop. We rented the 200 unit which is actually on floor 3 of 4 floors in the whole house. There is an elevator but it is hidden so make sure to find out about that before you check in as it was very helpful. The unit is very nice and perfect for 7-8 people or less. Lots of beach stuff in the closet and pool is right outside the door and very nice. But the best part of the unit is the view, absolutely beautiful and we will be back’

Another trip to The Great Escape

Another trip to this beautiful beachfront condo is a real testament to its perfect location and convenience. Scott, we loved your place before but now with all of the new upgrades, it's even better! The new dry bar is an excellent addition! We love the view from the large balcony, with the rockers. The balcony height of this second level condo is exactly where you'd want it while viewing the sunset each evening! Always nice to have an elevator too! Thanks Scott. Pam

Wonderful Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful time in Santa Rosa. Star deducted because this is not actually a vacation rental by owner, it is through vacasa (who cannot get in touch with the owner). I had something amazon delivered only to find out I couldn’t access the mailbox. Not a big deal, but I went back through my rental agreement and did not see anything in the disclosure about deliveries, and vacasa couldn’t help.

Wonderful Vacation

The property was gorgeous and location perfect. Our family enjoyed our stay and would book this property again. I'm not a big fan of Vacasa managed properties. They are always very well stocked, but communication is awful. I couldn't get anyone to answer any questions on the property beyond what I could read in the listing. It appeared clean upon arrival, but over the course of our stay, we found trash on the floor from previous tenants. I highly recommend the property itself, but the management company is a deterent. That being said, our family would stay here again. I was just thankful we didn't have any issues while there. I wasn't confident we would be able to reach anyone that could help.

Fabulous view and location!

The condo has an unobstructed view of the beach. We appreciated the abundance of beach towels provided. Having a community pool was a nice option on the days we were not able to get into the water on the beach. We did not have sheets for the bottom bed on the trundle and asked for them soon after checking in Saturday evening, but did not receive them until Sunday morning. We did also ask for additional bath towels and received ample extra towels Sunday morning as well. The kitchen was well stocked with plates and glasses. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, dishes and glasses. The kitchen floor needed to be scrubbed a bit better, and the cabinets needed to be cleaned around the knobs, but otherwise, the Condo as a whole was very clean. This condo was absolutely an excellent value for the location and accommodations!

Lot's of room. Nicely decorated.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Great Escape #200. The second floor had an amazing view of the gulf. The beach service and private beach access was great. Beach Towels and some beach toys in the closet were also nice to have. There is a washer and dryer in the condo - but unfortunately the washer broke on the second load - so we had wash a lot of cloths by hand - but the dryer was nice. The property manager did bring more towels for us to use though. Overall - Great Property - would definitely book again.

Awesome Week at Great Escape

We had a wonderful week at Great Escape! The house was beautiful and the location was great. Just a few a steps away from the beach! One of my favorite things was the six chairs and three umbrellas that were set up every morning! We would definitely go back!

Best Property For Your Vacation!

Everything was perfect and made so easy for us! Location, amenities, views, etc. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and it far exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Great spot on 30A

Great condo in a great location. Close to Seaside with the dining and shopping, but on the beach with the sound of the ocean. We were a family of four, but it could have slept more. Two families would be tight as there is really just one master, but family plus in-laws would work well. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything to cook a meal. In fact, we ate out only two times. Incredible view of the ocean from the balcony and very easy to walk to the beach. If you forget anything, it is easy to run back to the condo. Rental does not include bikes or golf cart, but that is easy to rent. Overall a great experience. We would come back.

The Great Escape was amazing!

Our family (3 couples and 2 children) stayed at The Great Escape during the first week of September. We all had a great experience! The condo is right on the beach, with beautiful ocean views. The private, gated beach access is directly next to the building, and we were provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels (!!!) every day. This saved us money as well as the hassle of carrying equipment to the beach every day. The unit itself is beautiful, with upscale appliances in the kitchen, one of a kind artwork, and a huge master bath. The location is convenient to the great restaurants and shops of Seaside, as well as all the other 30A communities. The owner provides very in-depth information about the unit, and he also gives detailed information on local restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping areas. We have stayed in many, many places on the coast, and when considering the location, the accommodations, the ocean views, and the owner support, this is the absolute best experience we have had. We will return!

Wow! All the reviewers were correct! Pictures cannot do justice to the view that will greet you when you walk into the Great Escape! Great location on 30A, easy access to a rarely seen uncrowded spot on this beautiful stretch of beach, well appointed and spacious condo, very interesting artwork throughout, beach chair/umbrella setup included, spectacular views, beautifully updated kitchen and flooring, super comfy beds and bedding. All this and Scott is the most informative and responsive owner that we have worked with in our 10+ years of renting on 30A! Thank you Scott! We will be back!

Lovely beach home in a perfect location!

My family spent 2 glorious weeks at The Great Escape and found it to be a lovely beach home on a beautiful peaceful beach. We had 8 people: 3 generations with grandparents, parents and grandchildren ages 17, 7 and 2. We had plenty of room to spread out and everyone enjoyed our stay and loved our time on this glorious stretch of beach. The Great Escape has fabulous views from the master bedroom, the kitchen, the dining room and the living room, but sitting on the balcony enjoying sunrises and sunsets was hard to beat. We also enjoyed having meals on the balcony at the bar height table and chairs. There is a nice seafood market within walking distance where we picked up fresh fish and steamed shrimp. And there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The beach house was clean, had comfortable beds, nice linens, plenty of beach towels, lots of beach equipment like boogie boards for the 7 year old and beach toys for the 2 year old. Having the 3 umbrellas and 6 chairs set up for us each morning before 8 am was the best! It is an easy walk down the boardwalk to enjoy the gulf. And Scott, the owner, was very professional and easy to work with. We would definitely rent this beach home again.

The Greatest Escape Ever!!!

This place lives up to its name and more! We have stayed in many places along 30A over the years and this was our favorite! Our two most important factors are proximimity to the beach and to restaurants/shopping and the Great Escape delivers on both! Best sweeping views of the gulf we’ve ever had, visible from the balcony, hall/foyer, kitchen, dining, living areas and master. It was so relaxing to wake up to that every morning! Such a quick walk to shops we needed and dining. We loved walking to Seaside in the morning or riding our bikes. This location was just perfect! Condo itself was the best stocked that we ever stayed in- we didn’t need a thing! Really appreciated the convenience of beach chair/umbrella set up daily for us and that beach towels were provided. Comfy beds and linens, ample bathrooms and huge closets, and all of the artwork and furnishings/decor were just georgeous! Scott was so great to work with- providing us all of the information we needed, always so responsive, and making great recommendations. We had an amazing week at The Great Escape and look forward to coming back to make some more memories!

Such an Amazing Place!

The Great Escape is VERY accurately named! It truly provided a wonderful escape from the business world and a beautiful venue to enjoy family and fun! The property is so accurately described, and the pictures do not do it justice! Scott was the best owner we have ever had in all of the years we have gone to the beach for vacation. Among the many amenities offered, we loved not having to drag chairs and umbrellas up and down everyday. They were put out each morning and put away each evening. We didn't even have to bring our own beach towels!! When we had a small glitch in receiving information from property management due to a new computer software system, Scott made sure that everything was in order. When Alberto threatened to spoil our stay, Resort Quest made sure we were safe and updated us on weather conditions. Scott provided a wonderful list of attractions and restaurants which was most helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend The Great Escape to anyone wanting to enjoy a worry free beach vacation. You won't be disappointed!
