The Space:

Located in the heart of Destin and directly on the Gulf of Mexico's crystal clear emerald waters and pure white sandy beaches, Jade East is a favorite resort location. This high-rise condominium features Gulf-front balconies and incredible views, whirlpool baths, ceramic tile, washer/dryer and many condos with a wet bar. We enjoyed our stay. The condo is beautiful, although a bit smaller than it appears in the pictures. It is in a great location with a beautiful beach view and lots to do nearby. It does sleep about 7 people with the available beds, but that would be too many people in this space. Kitchen is well stocked, but do bring your own dish soap, dishwasher soap and laundry detergent if staying for a couple of days. Also bring your own paper towels and toilet paper. The pool is also beautiful. I would go back again with my group of 4.

Our favorite place!

We love Jade East! This was our first time in 1130. It was everything we expected. Clean, comfy and a great home away from home for the week. Gorgeous view from the balcony! The only complaint I have is that there was no dustpan, or it was well hidden. Sand gets everywhere so I had to be creative after I swept.

Loved It!

My family truly loved everything about this condo. The view was amazing and I loved having my morning coffee on the patio taking in the breeze and the gorgeous scenery. It was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed. The only downfall to our week was they closed the pool and hot tub to do work on the balconies above the pool. My kids were very disappointed and we were not given any notice that this would be happening. The complex was very secure, needing codes to get in everywhere. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful View

This is a beautiful condo with a great view. Overall, it was wonderful. I know it's hard to keep a place by the beach perfectly clean. The furniture really needs cleaning and I don't think they are mopping the floors? Our feet were black. The place is a great location. The pictures online show a wet bar, which was one of the reasons I picked this particular condo. When we got there, there was not a wet bar. I think maybe they have several condos and the picture doesn't always match the place you rent. I would not hesitate to rent this condo again.

Great location, right on the beach, nice place

We’ve traveled to Destin numerous times and staying in this condo was perfect for a week long vacation. This place had all the amenities you would need. Right on the beach, beach balcony for evening sits and the beach with umbrella/chairs are key for your days in the sun. You will need to purchase small cleaning supplies: dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, disinfect wipes ect; The place was very clean upon arrival and check in is super easy and has a very safe, family friendly atmosphere. We did have two hiccups with the place, the master bath’s drain had a very strong smell of mildew. We bought Drano and bleach products and didn’t seem to help. Luckily, we had a second shower to use. Secondly, only a few outlets worked. Besides those minors things, overall, we would still rate the place with 5 stars and would come back. We don’t like to stay in extremely large condo units where you have to walk forever to get to and from from the beach/car. Jade East is the perfect size condo community! It’s also very close to perfect dining areas, bars, and sea tours.

Nice condo

The condo was nice with a great view. In the guest bathroom however there was a roach on the towel which was gross but the rest of the condo was clean and comfortable. Getting in the condo was a mess. It is direct check in where they text you a code to get in the door. Sounded nice but they sent me the wrong code and there is no office on site so I had to call customer service and get the code reset while my entire family is standing outside the door with their luggage. That was a bit annoying. The beach chair layout was kind of weird. It’s in a big U shape rather than a straight line across the beach. The surrounding condos had a more desirable layout. Also there was no where to eat or get something to drink at the condo. Not even a vending machine. Pelican has a tiki bar and a pizza place so something like that would have been nice. But overall the condo was spacious and had a great view and the beach was beautiful. Just a few things I would have liked differently.

Condo needs to be CLEANED!!!

Our check in was at 4:00pm no one was on site to check us in and we had signed up for online check in but had received no code for the room. We called and they stated our condo was still not cleaned. We finally got in at 5:30pm to find that the condo was still dirty. The floors had sand on them the furniture had stains on the cushions, there was dried food on the light switches, the coffee table was black from dirty feet and the place mats were dirty, there was hair on the dresser, dirty blankets where piled on the floor of the master bedroom closet and worst of all every time we showered the shower would leak under the bathroom vanity and into the bedroom and soak the carpet by the door going into and out of the bedroom and bathroom. The condo really needs a face lift, the trim is dirty the cabinets in the kitchen need cleaning and the top of the washing machine is dirty. The outside furniture really needs cleaning too. We reported all of these problems several times. After two days some things where fixed but housekeeping never picked up the dirty blankets and brought us clean blankets and they never fixed the water leak so we walked on wet carpet the entire time we were there. I also want to state that they had to know the water leak was there because when we checked in the wood trim below the bathroom cabinet was in the closet in the master bathroom. The view was beautiful, and it was a private beach area for just the condo guest and I was given a credit for the cleaning fee.

Overall very nice stay!

Very nice condo but the bathroom floor in the master had a lot of hair on it and the shower had a used bandaid in it and the second bathroom the toilet had poop all on the rim and underneath the toilet seat, other than that we would definitely rent again.
