The Space:

Sandpiper Cove 9205 is the perfect oasis for your next vacation in Northwest Florida. You will fall in love with the classic, beachy ambiance throughout this sunny getaway where you can whip up delicious meals in your full kitchen, dine together at the table for four, or step out onto your furnished balcony and enjoy the view, the sun, and the salty sea air. Guests will also have access to a shared, on-site pool and hot tub when they need a break from the beach.



White sands and gentle waves are only steps from your building, with plenty of fun wet-and-wild water slides at Big Kahuna's Water Park, just a brisk walk north. Destin is famous for its snorkeling and scuba-diving tours, but if you'd prefer to take it easy on land, hiking and pier fishing on Okaloosa Island are possible just seven miles west.

My stay at this Vacasa rental was deeply disappointing due to a total lack of communication and several alarming safety failures. Before booking, I messaged the host regarding a late checkout and never received a response. On the day of arrival, I messaged again via Vrbo for the entry code and was ignored once more. I eventually had to spend ten minutes on hold with customer service just to get into the unit. The arrival was a mess; the gate guards had no record of my stay, and due to incorrect GPS coordinates, I spent fifteen minutes driving around the complex just to find the front door.The unit itself is in a state of clear neglect. Upon entry, I noticed broken blinds, dirty carpets, and couches so dated they felt "gross" to sit on. I even had to kill a cockroach in the bathroom. The maintenance issues are more than just cosmetic—they are dangerous. While moving a patio chair, I sliced the top of my foot on a rusted, broken chair leg. Inside, an ancient power strip appears to be a major fire risk. Most concerning was the lack of security; there were no deadbolts or secondary interior locks to secure the door from the inside, leaving me feeling uneasy throughout my stay.Even the common areas were poorly kept. One of the three hot tubs had a water level significantly lower than the filter, meaning the water wasn't being properly circulated or cleaned. Between the physical injury, the pests, and the complete lack of host responsiveness, I cannot recommend this property.

Location great, Unit Ehh...

Love sandpiper cove... as a location in this area you cant beat it. Pools are heated year round and hot tubs are great. our unit was worn but clean.

The Best Vacation Ever!!

The property was beautiful! Is was immaculate as far as cleanliness and decorated beautifully. The beds and other furniture were comfortable and lovely to look at. The view from the balcony was great. I watched the sun rise and sunset every day. Easy access to the beach. There were warm swimming pools and hot tubs. My grandson caught fish at the marina and saw a shark that had been caught. We saw dolphins. We fed the ducks at the pond.

Perfect beach vacation

Have stayed at Sandpiper several times, LOVE the beach and beach service! The water is amazing but the pools are only a few steps away. The condo was great, minor glitch with lock code that was fixed with a phone call in minutes. Plan to return next year

Destin is always our destination

This rental has great location for beach, activities and food & entertainment. Like Destin, wish this rental was more EV friendly. No access to charge vehicle safely on property

Sand Piper Cove Condo

The property was very nice! The condo was decorated nicely and had what we needed! I hope to stay here again! The property description stated there was a washer and dryer. That appliance was available but not in the unit.

Great Location!!

What a great little property!! We were right across the street from the beach and each morning across the balcony could see the water/waves peeking through. The bed was super comfortable. The only issue we had was trying to figure out the shower access (just give the water spout output ring a pull down and voila!) The property maintenance gentleman who called to explain was super nice and helpful. Excellent stay and introduction to the gorgeous emerald coast!!

I liked that it was just as the photos. Everything was provided, all we had to do was show up and bring food if thats what we wanted. Will definitely be back. Only thing could've been better is that the carpet probably could be cleaner. And figuring out how to change tub to shower, but it ws quickly resolved.
