Amazing spot! You can literally walk out the patio and your feet are in the sand — doesn’t get better than that. East Destin is beautiful, peaceful, and close to great spots like Marina Café and Harbor Docks. The first night our A/C went out, but the property team handled it quickly and even offered compensation afterward. Excellent service, unbeatable location, and a perfect beach getaway. Highly recommend!

2nd time staying at this property, stayed 4 years ago. New vinyl floor instead of carpet was nice, wish they would update some of the amenities. Place was clean and we love the location, being in the sand right off the back steps. Would stay here again!

We loved being on the beach, on the ground floor. Make sure to check in with the guard across the street for a parking pass, though.

Location, location, location

If you’re looking for a place close to the beach this is it. They’re older condos but we’ll maintained and walking distance to some restaurants and amenities or a short drive to everything else you can imagine.

Problems

The first two days of our stay we had no water. We were going to be moved to a condo but the bed was to small for my 6'6" hubby. Next condo had bugs, so the third replacement worked. Would like to be compensated for the trouble.

Beach front stay

Beautiful beach front condo. We have stayed at sandpiper cove before but this has been the best location. Unit had a washer and dryer on the smaller side but love to have one. The pull out couch was terrible, so plan on sleeping on the couch not the pullout bed. The king bed was comfortable. The bunk beds weren’t very sturdy better for little kids. Enjoyed that they stocked many extra pillows and blankets. The only down side was the construction going on in the unit above us. It was terrible one day. The property manager did try to help. Overall we loved the unit and the location would stay here again.

Challenging stay

We arrived late on Friday and we found dirty underwear in the closet and a hair tie in the middle of the floor. Then we realized that we didn’t have any water and there was construction going on in the unit above us. But the management company was great and gave us options to finish our stay elsewhere. The location was great though right on a private beach and the room was actually quite nice. I wish we could have stayed here all weekend if the issues didn’t happen.

Nice Get Away For Couple

Spouse and I love coming to Destin for a weekend get away, quick 4 hour drive from NOLA. We usually come up with friends and split expenses, this time it was just us two, and we felt this place was perfect for just the two of us. You step right off the back deck into the sand and it’s a very short walk to the beach, much better than having to take an elevator to the 12th floor etc. King bed was fine, not great but not bad. Check in and check out super easy and your location is great in regards to groceries, ice, food spots, etc. (which if you can swing the price, Boshamps was fantastic, get the snapper) I would 100% recommend this place to other couples for a budget Destin trip.

Steps from the Ocean!

So convenient! We wanted relaxation off the beaten path and that’s exactly what we got. Step off the porch into the sand - spend the day at the beach. Nights out at the best restaurants and shopping right at end of Harbour Drive. So perfect!

Fun beach unit!

We enjoyed the stay. Very clean and no roaches! The only thing we wish we could have had were beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc to borrow. Host was very quick and helpful to responding to any questions.

Poor management

Place was not cleaned and that’s after having to wait until 4 pm. Oven was broken and not repaired for the entire week we were there. We rented from an owner the previous year and loved the place. This group we rented from just didn’t seem to care. Won’t use Southern again.
