Stunningly situated on the 10th floor corner of Pelican Beach Resort, this two-bedroom, Gulf-front condo offers panoramic views of the shimmering Gulf of Mexico and the white-sand shoreline of Florida's Emerald Coast for as far as the eye can see. Wake up each morning to catch the sun rising over the water from one of the two private balconies, where you can sip your coffee in solitude, watch for dolphins in the waves below, or even savor an evening cocktail after a day spent out on the sand. You'll be treated to floor-to-ceiling windows and a mirrored living room wall that enhance the view and the sunlight, stainless steel appliances in the full kitchen, a TV in the living room and each of the two bedrooms & a private washer/dryer for your swimsuits - all within steps of fantastic shared amenities that include swimming pools, a hot tub & two fitness centers. Amazing views, beautiful property, comfortable beds. Kitchen is the perfect size. Easy walk to the beach. Pools are fun. Great place to grill. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful views

The views are amazing. There’s a tiki bar, cafe on the property and the staff is very friendly. 3 pools, one in the sun, one in the shade and one is inside and outside. Beautiful white powder beach on property. Short walk to shops and restaurants. Also a waterpark across the street you can walk to.

Great accommodations

Our family of 4 enjoyed this trip. The resort was nicely kept. Our condo was clean and just as it appeared in the pictures. Our only complaint was the lack of quality cooking items. We ended up purchasing things from a local grocery in order to cook in the unit.

Views beyond...

Was very clean, had everything we needed, and loved the place. Beds were super comfortable, views were to die for. The complex was very nice and accommodating and great people to interact with. The Jacuzzis were extremely hot. We requested for them to turn down the heat, which they did but was hot again the next day. So hot no one could get in. Make sure u bring your own beach towels. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this unit.

Large complex

I didn’t realize how large this complex was until we got there. (But that is on me) Our unit was nice. The high dollar upgrades have been done but needs some TLC for the living room furniture. It was very uncomfortable. All in all we had a great stay.

Great views

Overall, the unit is beautiful, upgraded and has amazing views. The cafe downstairs is nice. My only issue was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. There is black mold on the inside of the shower curtains in the second bathroom and in the master bathroom the jets in the tub shoot out black stuff. The utensils in the kitchen could also be cleaned better I had to wash everything really well before using. I would stay here again but the bathrooms need a really good deep clean with Clorox.

Beautiful Views

Views were amazing, loved the 3 pools, the tiki bar, & live music. Condo was clean & comfortable, with the exception of the couch in the front room. There was a oatmeal colored couch & 2 clothed bar stools, and the couch & chairs both had lots of stains all over it, very worn down & dingy looking, which simply didn’t fit the rest of this clean & beautiful condo. No one in my family sat on the couch or barstools bc of this. This is the only reason I choose 4 stars. Time for an upgraded couch & barstools which would make this a 5 out of 5 no doubt.

Labor Day weekend

We loved the room but not sure it will be enough to bring us back to the beach area. The property lines and private beach rules were very stressful. We crossed over 10ft to put up our chair close to the water so we could watch our kids play and the property staff next door were VERY HARASSING! We were not set up in the area of their private beach chair and Umbrellas. We were chased down and harassed but a man on an ATV. This would be enough to prohibit another visit. The room itself was lovely and the waters were gorgeous as pictured.

Beautiful, clean

It was a great experience. Although I was very disappointed as far as not being able to use personal chairs unless you was 4 rows back from the water (Cause they didn’t want you to be upfront unless u rebates chairs). Only able to stay up front in ur personal chair if you was watching children. No smoking. And must stay within ropes with ur chairs ((but the ropes aren’t put up until 9ish)). We had to move 3 times in one day.

I thought the location and view of the unit was great! I was however very disappointed in the lack of acceptable kitchenware. There was not a single frying pan that did not cause food to stick, there were not enough coffee mugs of a decent size, several of the mugs were chipped, the dishwasher was not working when we arrived, the AC said the filters needed to be changed. I have stayed at many VRBO's etc, and they always provide the simplest of amenities, including kleenex and some cleaning supplies, if nothing more than to keep the bathtub and kitchen sink clean. I am not sure I would book again.

Family vacation

This is a great spot for a family if you want to be close to the beach and pools! We had two kids and two adults. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked with plates and utensils! The views were amazing. Super close to the main elevator, easy access to pools and beach. You did have to set up your umbrellas behind the rental ones but not a problem for us! There were some scuff marks and sand in the place but you have to expect that at the beach. Otherwise it was nice and clean. Only problem was the door - as a previous review said anyone (even my 1.5 year old) can reach and open the door. It appears there was a dead bolt at some point but no other way to lock it so he could walk right out if wanted, and the twin beds were in the room closet to door. Over all a great place! So nice to just sit out and look at all the beautiful ocean views!

Nice place but…

The room was spacious and had plenty of space for my family. Overall cleanliness was an issue with the place. Floors were dirty when we arrived and there was sand in sheets and a lot of the furniture was stained and gross. Beach was the other problem… unless you rent a chair don’t expect to utilize the beach at this property. They have it on lock down with rental chairs. You do have the option to sit behind all the rows of chairs but it is very limited on space and when you take a lot of kids to the beach it is very uncomfortable to go stand in front of people so you can actually see your kids in the water. They just do not have space to accommodate all the people.

Beautiful view.

Amazing view! No question that is the best part. Beds are comfortable. The unit needs slight update overall, especially around doors and windows. Process getting in was difficult because the code provided was incorrect. No text messages were ever sent as described in the booking. Had to sit on phone thankfully only for 15 minutes to get a working code. It was Embarrassing to sit out there for so long with all our bags in the hallway because we struggled calling around before finding who could help. Despite the hiccup in the beginning, this condo was an overall fun stay. Abide by the rules and you will have no issues. We have enjoyed ourselves thanks pelican beach resort in Destin.

Perfect

Pictures are true perfect location Right in the center of everything, breathtaking views from corner condo. Beds were very comfortable. The whole complex is great. Only downside is the beach in front of the building. The listing doesn’t say that you can’t put your own chairs up by the water. Not until you get there to check in do they say you have to set up behind their chairs and here lies the problem.. the entire beach front of the property is covered almost completely with their setups almost forcing you to rent their chairs and umbrella especially if you have small children and want to keep an eye on them from your chair.. they are seven rows deep and each row is separated by 6-10 feet so do the math.. almost 70 feet back off the beach before you can set up your own beach chair. I will say that neighboring properties aren’t as diminishing when it comes to their setup and we ventured over and found a great spot.. besides this everything was perfect. Will definitely be rebooking this unit on our next trip.

Beautiful View!!

My husband and I had a kidless weekend finally, and we wanted to stay on the Gulf. We fell across this listing and knew it was the one. We loved the keyless entry. The condo was beautiful. The view was more than we couldve hoped for. I will say it wasnt as clean as I had hoped. I used to clean houses, so I can be a little more picky. However, the dust on the baseboards and pictures had obviously been there for quite a while. There was sand and crumbs in the recliner. The condo is full of mirrors, and you could see the streaks and fingerprints. There was hair in the drawers of both bathrooms. Again, I am more picky than others, but I was also charged a cleaning fee and apparently they are not doing what they should be doing. The beach was breathtaking. The sand was like powder. The water was freezing, but we still got our feet in. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. Just wished it wouldve been cleaner.
