The Space:

Stroll minutes to the white-sand beach from this recently renovated townhome. Sip morning coffee or afternoon beverages from the comfort of your furnished patio or the upstairs balcony. Featuring beach-inspired decor throughout, the townhome boasts an open layout that makes it easy for everyone to socialize. While the chef in your group prepares recipes in the well-equipped kitchen, stretch out in the living room and watch favorite TV shows. When it's time to eat, gather at the kitchen bar for two and an adjacent dining table for six.



Surrounded by lush landscaping, the Portside Resort features an array of amenities that add to your stay. Lounge by any of the three on-site pools (one of which is heated), or take a relaxing soak in the shared hot tubs. Kick start your morning with a workout in the fitness center, or take your exercise outside at the tennis courts.

Great pools. Not busy. Easy beach access. Top bunk mattress was too high for the railing, so children couldn't use top bunk.

Spring break 2025

We stayed in the unit and were very comfortable. The beds were amazing. Location was perfect. The only issue was that it allows pets which resulted in pet hair throughout the property. Im allergic, so it was my mistake to book a pet friendly rental.

Just what we needed!

Our stay was wonderful. The area is quiet and still close to the beach. The property and unit were clean and we had almost everything we needed. We were a little bummed there wasn't any coffee and there was no cooking oil either. Other than that, everything was great!

Christmas beach trip

We had a great time at the beach. The place we stayed at was not up to standards. We contacted Vascasa with no solutions. We were very disappointed with this rental.

Weird check-in rules and dirty

There's no person to talk to personally since it is through Panhandle Getaways. We got there on a Friday about 10 minutes before check in time (4:00 pm). The office told us we could go ahead and go to our unit but once we got there, would need to purchase a parking pass by scanning a QR code and then coming back to the office to retrieve the pass and wristbands in order to access the pool. We did so only to find that the office closed at 4:00 and the lady was GONE. So we basically purchased a parking pass and no one was even there to give us the pass and wristbands until security came on duty an hour later at 5:00. I've never experienced that before when staying at vacation rentals. As far as cleanliness goes...there were prints all over the glass doors which made it noticeable they were not clean. There was a dead roach in the decorative conch that sat on the bedroom dresser and it was obvious that nothing had been dusted for a long time. I swept one day and swept up a pan full of dirt/junk between the fridge and counter...obvious that had never been done before. I got a pan out of the cabinet to use and the lid to the frying pan was splattered with grease and had not been cleaned. I went to use the chargeable vacuum and it was dead. No charger to be found. Pretty sure cleaning crew keeps it there to look like they may use it but according to the cleanliness of the floors, it probably has not been used in a long time. Throw blankets smelled like dogs.
