Lighthouse Landing is a new spin on the beach house, with a new-age, clean, and comfortable feel for those who want more than just adventure at the beach. Whether you're planning a relaxing bachelorette escape or a family vacation, you'll enjoy a variety of remarkable features at this spacious home, including two furnished balconies offering beautiful outdoor views, a private outdoor pool, a grassy yard, and a fire pit. Guests will also have access to a modern, well-equipped kitchen, TVs with Roku players for streaming your favorite movies and shows, and a variety of other amenities.



Grab your beach gear and walk just two blocks to the shore for days of fun on the sand and in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. For more excitement, visit nearby Gulf State Park and Lake Shelby, a 900-acre freshwater lake, for swimming, fishing, boating, and bird watching. What an amazing trip for my family! My 60th bday was Christmas day. My children surprized me with amazing beach trip. The house was prefect for us. The kiddos loved the bunk room... and the yard and driveway were great places to play. Only tjing we all wished for was heat in the pool. Tha ks VRBO!

Beautiful and perfecr location. The pool was perfect after being drained from the beach, but the kids are still energized. Any questions I needed to ask were answered in a timely manner. Its a must return definitely.

Amazing location and beautiful house

The house was beautiful and slept way more people than we needed it for. The recent addition of the pool was a pleasant surprise and we used it more than the beach! Super close and convenient to the main corner of Gulf Shores. We definitely will rebook this location, it is my favorite out of all places we have stayed down here.*Note - it is only stocked with the minimum to get you through a few days with the basic paper items. Plan for a good run to the store or bring everything!

Great place to stay! Very close to the beach and quiet road. Lots of room to sleep

The internet was not working and the tub in the guest bath needs some draino but other than that it was perfect!

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed the house. The beds were great. The sprayer outside was wonderful for after the beach. We wished it would have included a couple kitchen towels and beach towels but otherwise it was perfect for us.

Great option to stay in Gulf Shores!

Great spacious house to stay near the heart of Gulf Shores. Yet away enough from the noise of the business. Easy 2 block walk to the beach but also a free hidden parking area, about 6-8 spots, at the beach access point. Worked for this group of 3 adults and 7 kids. Would return to this place.

Cactus Cove is an adorable and accommodating home to stay in!!

My husband, I, and 5 children had a lovely time!! We were just a 5 min walk to the beach where we spent most of our time. There's a lighthouse by Pensicola that is very interesting and also a Naval Museum that was enjoyed by my husband and boys!! Thanks Cactus Cove for such a relaxing place to enjoy our stay!!

Huge house near gulf state park

We stayed here for our 25th anniversary. The rooms were huge. It is near a dead end without any houses behind it so it was very quiet. Its less than a mile to the park playgound. We rode our bicycles in the park and to restaurants. Overall a great experience.

FABULOUS!

This property is beautiful! The distance to the beach was easy. The distance to stores and restaurants was great. The decor is fabulous. It was so light and airy and relaxing! My family of ten fit perfectly. We traveled with 6 adult “children” that shared the bunk room and my parents. It worked so well for us!

It was a nice quiet place. Overall it was goo, but there were a few minor things that needed repairs

We enjoyed our stay but the house didn’t have any kitchen towels or wash cloths. The outlets in the hall bathroom didn’t work plus a few in the kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. The hangout is definitely the best place to eat and let the kids play with easy access to the beach.

Beautiful home

This home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Plenty of room for our group of 12. Few improvements that could be made, shower door in master bath needs repaired, guest mattress is not comfortable at all, could use a few more cooking skillets and pots, and pieces of the leather couch were peeling off. Minor issues that would not keep us from returning.

The location was perfect. House nice! Beds very comfortable. Few housekeeping things should have been addressed. Grass needed cutting, rugs left in washer, a useless sand box full of grass. Not enough outdoor seating, broken chair left on parking area. Too many remotes no batteries in most couldnt use main living area TV, Broken ceiling fans 2 back rooms. Too few ammenities, no welcome ammenities ie coffee tea. etc

Lots of potential to be great

This place is light, bright, modern and comfortable. A few tweaks to some of the amenities would make it great. It was spacious, airy and a great size with lots of room. Washer/Dryer was great, walk-in closet in primary bedroom, ample parking. Not too far from the beach...just a few blocks over (no view, but easy to get to). Floors needed to have been cleaned (not just vacuumed) before our arrival, and needs a full set of kitchen utensils (forks, spoons, knives) for any more than 4 people. Kitchen table is warped and uneven. Like I said, with just a few adjustments, this house will be a fantastic rental for the price.

Not What Expected

The code did not work at check-in and had to call management. Many outlets throughout the home did not work. Found out the fuse was tripped. Kept tripping entire stay. The master bed mattress was so loud with a vinyl cover every move would wake you up. Something black came out of the master faucet and when wiped underneath a large amount of black filth was removed. Will never stay at this place again. Will never stay in a place managed by this company...ever. Have responded to this management company in similar fashion without a returned call or email. They simply do not care if this is the product they allow rentable.

Nice place to stay - but lacking amentities

The pictures of the house are exactly as shown. Beds were nice and clean and super nice to have all the bunk beds for kids to sleep. Decor of the house was nice. Comfy. The coaches have seen their day and are pretty worn out but still comfortable. Access to the beach was easy. Not too much of a walk to get to the main drag for restaurants and such but was a lot easier to just drive. That being said - the amenities of the house were pretty sparse. I've never been to a VRBO that didn't at least have coffee filters or salt and pepper or any other spice left behind. We did leave those things and the giant ketchup we bought. Actually. We never did get the filters b/c the Dollar General down the block never did have any. The grill can't be called a grill. So that was too bad b/c we would have done more cooking at home. Don't plan on grilling. Places post covid were a mess. Lots of visitors and every place posting Help Wanted. We had to wait for at least an hour at every restaurant we went to. No matter the time of day. It notes on the description to "borrow the boogie board and the beach chairs". There were now boogie boards or beach chairs to borrow. We bought some boards and thankfully our friends drove as they took them with them. We flew - so there was no way we could have brought or taken them with us. It'd also be nice if they had a slug of beach towels there too. I had asked prior to coming. But it sure would have saved space in our suit cases had we not of had to packed. All in all - the house was just fine. We've checked Gulf Shores off our bucket list - but don't think we'd go back.

Inaccurate description

Listing description is inaccurate. No beach towels 1 beach chair No fire pit No bicycles No cornhole No ocean view Not brand new No Gas grill (we didn’t buy charcoal since it said it had a gas grill) 1 board game 1 puzzle No hammock No wood burning fireplace When we arrived the cleaning lady was still there and let us in the house. We tried locking the door so we could leave and get groceries. We called the leasing office because it would not lock. The lady was no help after 20 minutes on the phone with her. Finally we googled how to lock it and left. When we came back with groceries, the door code would not work. I called the leasing office for the second time. She was not any help. She said she would send a tech. After 45 min with no tech, we called again and got a different person. She said there was nothing in the notes about a tech coming or that we had called. The called the two numbers left in the email and left messages. Finally we were given the 3rd property managers number who was able to reset the door lock. By this time over an hour had passed trying to get into the rental. The property manager was apologetic. I wish her number had been supplied in the email since the other two that were supplied never returned our call. Here are the things that need attention. Shower door in master doesn’t close, trash under the beds, television in bunk room doesn’t work because it is missing a cord (so boys couldn’t watch tv in their room), the two trundle beds couldn’t be pulled out or utilized because the ladders are screwed into the front side of the bunks, there was info binder about where to get to beach or any info about house, toaster was broken, main bathroom shower takes about 20 minutes to drain, Kitchen needs to be restocked, sheets don’t fit the bed, and no mattress cover on beds We picked this house because of the location and all the things it offered. The kids were disappointed that there were no bicycles, or a corn hole game, and only had one board game. We didn’t bring beach towels, beach chairs, or board games since the listing said it supplied them. The listing is inaccurate and needs to be updated. I don’t think we would have chosen this listing had it been updated.
