Perched in the Old Hollywood playground of Movie Colony East, this 3BR/2BA gem is your Palm Springs oasis. Interiors are furnished in a contemporary style, featuring Saltillo tile and a gas fireplace. Unwind in your backyard paradise, complete with a pool and spa, outdoor entertaining space, and breathtaking views of the San Jacinto mountains.

This prime location is within a short drive of shopping, dining, museums, and entertainment in downtown.

LIVING AREA

Make yourself at home on the leather couch and chairs around the 50in flat-screen TV with cable. When evening falls, enjoy the ambience of the gas fireplace.

KITCHEN & DINING

Whip up favorite recipes in the fully stocked kitchen, outfitted with ample counter space and quality appliances.

When it's time to eat, gather around the dining table for six.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This single-level home sleeps up to six guests between three bedrooms. Two full bathrooms are each stocked with a complimentary supply of toiletries.

Relax in the partitioned master suite, furnished with a king bed and a flat-screen TV with a Fire TV Stick. Enjoy direct access to the back patio and pool. The en-suite master bathroom includes a Euro-style vanity and a walk-in shower with stone accents.

The second bedroom is outfitted with two twin beds and a separate AC unit. The third bedroom features a full-size bed and a 32in flat-screen TV with Roku. A full bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREAS

Mix a beverage and lounge in your private backyard oasis. Relax in the spa and 6' deep heated pool with scenic views of the San Jacinto mountains. There's comfortable seating for four underneath the covered patio or on the two Adirondack chairs.

Sizzle dinner on the gas grill and savor family-style meals at the table for six.

The front porch also has seating for two.

Sunrise way

Our stay was very enjoyable. The home was clean and comfortable. We really liked the pool and patio area. We had a friend fly in to join us and the home is near to the airport which was convenient. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Great location

Had a very good time, communicating with the property manager was fast and easy. FYI it’s 75/day to heat both, the pool and hot tub. We added that and enjoyed the backyard so much more!There is a bit of traffic noise at night as the house is on a busy street. It didn’t bother us at all since we live in NYC, it made us feel like we were back home!

Great place! Very clean & convenient. The only thing that bothered me was that I told the property manager that the garage door opener wasn’t working properly. They suggested changing the battery. There wasn’t any batteries at the property — I bought some & it worked. I left them for the next tenant. Other than that loved the place! Beds were super comfortable.

Surprised at the negative reviews for this house. Great pool, nice rooms. Road noise was not bad for us, but we did not use the sunrise facing bedroom. Garage doesn't save the vehicle temperature as it runs hot in there. Still, would recommend!

House is in a good location but is on a busy street. Pulling out of the driveway can be a bit precarious. House was clean when we arrived and kitchen was adequately supplied. Both baths have been recently updated and are nice. House & furniture are a bit dated. The pool was good but outside landscaping could use some work and patio furniture could definitely use an upgrade. The only way to access the pool & outdoor space is thru the Master BR which is not ideal especially if you are sharing the house with anyone else.

Romantic getaway with a great location! We'll be back!

This was the best vacation home of its kind I could find in Palm Springs. Everything comparable was in another city in the neighboring valley area -- much farther from where the action is! We could see and do whatever we wanted with very little driving time required. Even Joshua Tree NP is less than an hour away. And I had no idea what a romantic retreat this turned out to be; my partner loved it, too! The pool and spa were terrific for unwinding after an active day. Highly recommended!

The home was nice and clean, with a charming, slightly aged character, yet all the furniture, fixtures, and appliances were in good condition. It was very well maintained. Guest services were easily accessible and very responsive. While the house isn't within walking distance to downtown, it's just a short drive away. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing, and private holiday home with a private pool.

Cute Palm Springs House

Pleasant clean house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Clean and private pool and hot tub. Adequate common space. Close enough to downtown, though on a busy street, not so walkable. Strict noise rules make for a quiet stay. Might be hard with loud kids. Overall, better than I expected and for a good price.

The kitchen wasn’t built for actual cooking, but more for reheating and snacks. It’s missing key utensils and pots. Walking through a bedroom to get to the pool is less than ideal. The living room furniture is uncomfortable. And the ambient outdoor noise is horrible — both from the constant pool pump and the road noise. One guest found it difficult to sleep at all. Also, we received several different versions of directions for check in and had to call more than once for clarification. The front door lock and bolt mechanism is hard to manage both locking and unlocking.

Unfortunately, the home is located on a busy street, and the pool equipment is positioned near one of the guest bedrooms. The equipment runs continuously when pool heat is added. Had we been contacted during your stay, our local office could have easily adjusted the timer to better suit your preference, and we regret not having the opportunity to assist at the time. We have not previously received concerns regarding the living room furniture, front door electronic lock, or kitchen amenities. That said, we do appreciate your feedback and will review each of these items carefully, including the check-in instructions, to see where improvements can be made. We understand how receiving multiple versions of directions and experiencing difficulty with entry can be frustrating. Thank you again for sharing your experience. The house has everything you need in a rental. Had some board games and books for both kids and adults. T.Vs are on the smaller side but not a big deal. Master restroom is nicely done. One small issue is that you need to go through the main bedroom to access the backyard/pool but it wasnt a big deal for us. Beds were comfortable. One room does have two kid size beds (looked smaller than twins but might be twin beds). Backyard was very private which we really loved. Location was great. A couple minutes drive from downtown. Also have a couple of grocery store options not too far away as well which come in handy. Overall again the house has everything you need. Just don't expect luxury. We did enjoy our stay and were comfortable. Would stay again.

Great getaway

Great property in a good location. Pool and spa are nice and the best part of the stay. House is well equipped. Be aware, this property is booked through another vacation property company beside VRBO (it's with Vacasa) with different rules and extra fees. VRBO never helped even with an open complaint ticket. No response and poor customer service from VRBO!

The home was clean and mostly nice. It has an awkward layout so you have to pass through the primary bedroom to get to the backyard causing trouble if someone went to sleep or was sleeping in or just wanted privacy. The heated pool and hot tub are very nice - we enjoyed them a lot. Just be aware you have to pay extra and you must pay for every day of your stay (I tried to just pay for the two middle days of our stay since we couldn't check in until 4 p.m. but it had to be every day.) We also found the kitchen a bit understocked from what we are accustomed to. The house is on a very busy street. Expect car and airplane traffic just about 24 hours. And be careful pulling out of the driveway. I also do not really recommend working with Vacasa homes after this. I found the communication unclear and confusing and way too much the week leading up to our stay. I was often not listened to and responses were not heplful. Like I said, we really enjoyed the pool/hot tub.

Watch the fees

On aaij road, if noise or safety are of concern. Bathroom had a foul odor they tried to cover with a glade plugin. If you add the fees, plus the daily charge to heat the hot tub, to advertised nightly rate, it's more expensive than it seems-- and more expensive than it's worth.

Heavy Traffic Here

This stay marred by heavy truck traffic barreling down this 4-lane highway, the front door steps from a no-sidewalk thoroughfare. (The photo is deceptive, I should have checked Google maps.) No let up, the house shook from this traffic 24/7, even Sunday morning. The back yard experiences heavy traffic noise & vibration as well. Unfortunate.

Nice property with a few omissions.

I stayed at this property for a girls weekend with three friends. The house was clean, had plenty of room, and comfortable beds. The listing says that it's in the Movie Colony. That might technically be true, but it's on the side that butts up against a main busy street. That can make it a little hard to get in and out, and it can be noisyin the front bedroom. The other detail that would have been nice to know before we booked it was that we had to pay 75/day plus tax to hear the pool. I understand the need for a surcharge, but i would have liked to know that before I booked. Overall, a nice property that we've talked about renting again.

Feb palm springs

Palm Springs in February. Temp was cool. Rented the property for the pool. Extra charge for pool heating was not clearly communicated. When I contacted property manager, they attempted to activate heater. Heater still did not function properly for the weekend.

Note that price does not include heating the pool, even though listing states ‘heated pool’. Kitchen could use some additional flatware and a better can opener. Grilling utensils inadequate-did not find any. LOTS of street noise- sirens, trucks, speeding cars. House was clean. Doorknob to one bedroom fell off. Some lamps do not work.Overall was adequate, we felt safe. Loved outdoor area and proximity to downtown PSP.Pool heating issues were immediately resolved-response time excellent. Pool cleaning net is ripped and needs replaced.

P.S Getaway

Overall the property has everything you need and was spacious for our family of four. Also the backyard/pool was very private and nice. One person I did want to highlight was Mo I'm not sure if shes directly tied to the property or from Vacasa but she was awesome and patient with all of my questions and concerns. One of which was a really dirty Hvac Air filter. I sent a picture and Mo forwarded it to the property manager but nothing was changed during our stay. Another issue that others might run into is having the access to the pool be from the main bedroom but for us it wasn't a big deal. House is a couple minutes from downtown if you're driving. Still a good location with a couple grocery stores within a 4min drive. Guest are asked to take out trash and put dishes in dishwasher before leaving. Not sure if thats part of the cleaning fee but Again overall the house has everything you need to have a great time which we did. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay there.

the house itself is fine, it is on a busy street so be aware of that. the issue was the property management company.we paid for heating the pool and hot tub they were cold on arrival, the tablet to adjust things didn't allow us to adjust anything as all the selections were grayed out until maintenance showed up, then the tablet was functional. He did insinuate that the instructions were too complicated for me to understand. they were not complicated but there is no way to adjust the heat its locked down. the property management company would not communicate with me about refunding the extra I paid for the time it wasn't usable. We did request the tech use the gate access to troubleshoot the pool issue, he just walked into the house and out to the pool area - we taken by surprise, no notification he was coming. He checked the pool temp with a little hand held laser, he would not put his hand in the water, and of course the laser read the air temperature. the tablet read ten degrees lower, as did the pump. I spent easily 4-5 hours of our short vacation time trying to get the amenities I already paid extra for and getting them to stop sending me someone elses reservation. that was another whole cluster to administrate on my vacation. I don't think I would chose this place in the future due to the property management company. I don't think I will stay anywhere that uses casago.
