Fill your vacation with sunshine, mountain views, and the sounds of rustling palms at this three-bedroom home in Palm Desert, where the fun begins as soon as you step through the door. Enjoy a large kitchen equipped with double ovens and a gas range, flatscreen TVs throughout the house, and a gas fireplace that makes an ideal gathering spot in the evenings. Outside, you'll find a sparkling pebble-tech pool and spa, a waterfall feature that provides the perfect vacation soundtrack, and a shaded patio and a grassy lawn where you can relax and dine with a view of the mountains.

What's nearby:
This home is located on a cul-de-sac in Palm Desert, less than five miles north of El Paseo - the stretch of downtown that's known and loved for its art galleries, shops, and excellent restaurants. If you're a golfer, the open-to-the-public Shadow Ridge Golf Club (one of countless world-class golf courses in the area) is one mile west. The Indian Wells Tennis Garden - the annual site of the Indian Wells Masters/BNP Paribas Open - is only seven miles southeast as well.

Good place to stay

We stayed for about a month. The house was spacious, clean and we enjoyed the pool and large grassy area. As the photos showed, it was nothing too fancy, but simple and pleasing; exactly what I was looking for my family of 4 (2 kids) and dog. Vacasa was very responsive. I’m rating our stay with 4/5 stars because the toiletries and other daily supplies were very limited There was nothing to cook with such as salt. I think a host has to offer more than half a bottle of hand soap, a tiny shampoo and body wash for a family staying a lot longer than two days.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Ileana. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the home! To clarify, we provide our guests with a starter kit of supplies. This includes cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products. Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. Supplies are restocked before each guest. While the kitchen is stocked with all the cookware and utensils needed to prepare meals, food and other pantry items like spices, oils, and coffee are not typically stocked in the home. Due to Covid-19, we have taken extra precautions not to supply items that cannot be properly sanitized between guests. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your time with us. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future!

Nice House - Horrible Management

This house, although not luxurious, was nice and with a pool, fenced yard, nice grassy area, and dog friendly. It should have been perfect but Vacassa made it a nightmare. It started 6 months before we arrived when I tried to arrange for the pool heater to be turned on and get an explanation of the utility deposit. The problem is you never talk to people in Palm Desert - you get someone in Portland who does not know anything. They finally said they didn't know if the pool even has a heater, they didn't know why it was called a deposit and I should wait until I check in. We tried to check in while we were driving to the property. We were alternately told we needed to check in in person or we could use facetime. When we arrived at the property at about noon (after a 7hr drive) we were referred to the following "On your day of arrival, someone from our Guest Services Team will contact you to complete a video check-in (this is done via Facetime or Zoom). Guests will receive a call between the hours of 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Registered guests will be asked to show their ID as well as the credit card the reservation was paid for. Once the virtual check-in has been completed, the guest will be given access information to the home by 4:00 pm." We waited until 3:45, got the email and the lockbox code was wrong. We made them aware that the kitchen oven did not work. We waited a day for the repairman - he showed up a day late, never fixed the oven, and disappeared. Well, I'm tired of typing. This is not what I expected from VRBO I really believed you were worth your service fee and you have been wonderful in the past. But now I will shop around.
