Not ALL info about house was received from the beginning. I find it deceitful & inappropriate to be sent checkout info concerning detailed cleaning, 3 days before arriving! Details including taking a wks worth of trash & recycling accumulated from 12 people, away from property to dump site, 40 minutes round trip, cleaning the stove, microwave, oven, washing sheets… when we paid for cleaning. If that isn’t enough for cleaning, reduce nightly fee to accommodate for additional cleaning cost! I find getting this info last minute, after I fully committed w/payment a year ago, dishonest as if purposefully hiding info so as to get full payment from a guest; host offers NO way to cancel w/out losing ALL money!!
Full disclosure of all property info should be required to be seen & read by all prospective guests from first time they view a property - not after money has been received. OR the cancellation policy should be good until such total info is provided to the host; in this case, cancelling after reading owner's departure requirements, received just 3 days before arrival.
There was also wrong info provided: the wifi is no longer a MiFi but Xfinity, a huge difference. NO grill but a very dirty griddle?! AND there were 2 diff entry times provided; the one directly associated w/our date of entry, 6/22, was 3:00; we arrived to 2 cleaning people trying to clean a 6,000 sq. ft. house. They didn’t leave until 6 PM!
+The house is HUGE w/lots of games - renting a pontoon boat=best!
